Just watching this brings tears to my eyes!! I was apart of the motorcycle procession that day!! It was one of the most AMAZING and emotional things I have ever been apart of!! I am very honored to have been given the opportunity to bring our hometown soldier home!! Nick may you rest in peace, and God be with your Family!! ThANK YOU for your service,So we can LIVE FREE!!!
I rode up from Northwest Atlanta, it was my first Patriot Guard Riders mission. It was an honor to participate and support the family. The citizens of Anderson certainly demonstrated their support for one of their own and his family in welcoming SrA Alden home. As we followed along from the church to the cemetery, you could feel the outpouring of love and sympathy from the roadside. Most drivers who were stopped in traffic stood at attention outside their cars. Touching, and so respectful.
Thanks for posting, I was in the funeral procession behind about 80 cars and 400 motorcycles, It's good to see this from another point of view. I came from Athens, Ga. to pay my respects, I was frankly amazed at all of the support the people of Anderson gave to Sr Airman Alden. Your city is to be commended for their show of respect.
