  • NEVER sell it cause I sold mine and I will regret that for the rest of my life

  • Serious power.love the classic imprezas. The best of them all in my opinion.I like the newer shapes too but id take a classic impreza over them any day.Have a 98 sti type r myself getting a 2.25 forged rebuild at the moment.Hope to break the 400bhp mark myself some day.Gonna cost me alot of time and money before I get to that power though

  • @RonanSheehan

2.25 is the way forward, a great balance of torque and revs. Are you going closed deck for added strength?

i have sold this car now, currently building a 900bhp mkiv supra. will post some vids up real soon

  • @impreza705

I dont think Im going closed deck.An Irish company called STI-TUNING are doing all the work for me and a fellow called Bob Rawle flys over from the UK and does all their mapping for them.Hes meant to be very well respected when it comes to tuning Subarus.Im aiming for 400-420 and I should be safe at that power without going for a closed deck.Id definetly go closed deck if I was going for more power tho.Was your impreza a closed deck?Id love a Supra but road tax here is crazy

  • whats the 1/4 mile time on this thing¿

  • shitbox

  • have you done a 3.5 o/60 in it ?

  • @200sky yeah the actual time was 3.54 secs. We got in using antilag on toyo r888's with the boost set at 1.9 bar. time recorded on my pals gps data system

  • The year you want is a 98 GC8. I want to build one up from the ground just in the March 2010 issue of Modified Magazine. Dave Mann built a sick ass WRB wide body with 10" wide black Rotas. Car is beautiful. Check out some of Gary Sheehan's videos too. I rode in that beast. I own an 08 now with a little over $3,000 in the motor. Goin suspension and then hitting up eBay for a salvaged 98 RS!!! Booya-ka!!

  • nice car & pulls bro. looking for opinions, 05 wrx or 2door imprez & swap engine tranny?

  • what year is the 2door impreza? the classic shape like mine are lighter and faster, check out time attack uk and you'll see some of the best impreza's in the world if you need any inspiration! id go with classic shape

  • not sure what year, I had a my05 wrx & im loking to get a suby again. just rather have a 2 door "should have made 2doors in 05!" I really like the classic look too. What year was best for 2door? i kno little about pre my01

  • nice man.

  • fucking legit man!

  • gorgeous car!

  • thanks!

  • i like how his name is "this is obvious" .. its pretty damn obvious he doesnt know sh*t!! asshat

  • lol, so you have a turbo AND headers?

  • you fail at being a dick. Subaru's have headers and an UP PIPE... reading > you

  • I wasn't being a dick, if that is in fact true, then I was mistaken. DICK.

  • You weren't trying to be a sarcastic dick at all..... right.

What was your next comment, does it have the Rotary with the pistons? lol...

  • headers are attached to the exhaust ports (four ports) which lead into an up-pipe in which the turbo sits on

  • no its a vented cf bonnet, like an evo style, its a seibon cf bonnet, good quality.rear door handles removed and smoothed,it was mapped on 99 octane pump fuel,im assuming you get 95 in the states? nowhere near maxed out the injectors, they are nismo's.

  • gay

  • intelligent comment

  • hey im considering geting those same head lights? are they very bright for dd?

  • looks mainly, standard are better for lighting

  • really just wanted to be different, this vid doesnt do the car justice, its got custom blue pearlescent paint that looks awesome in the sun. Power is also alot of fun!

  • thats lovely mate - Not keen on the front on rear lights tho

Also thats some power mate :-0 good show

  • it wont run 3 bar although i wish it would! I was running 1.6 bar of boost for these figures, when I go back the mapper said it should peak at 1.9 bar.

Still go scoobyclinic, it is far but worth it

Turbo turned out to be quite good in the end,

AET sent an actuator,it wasn't the right one so I borrowed Scoobyclinics van and drove there, they fabricated another one that worked!!

just looking forward to getting on the track now so I can open her up properly

  • Jeez man, that is serious power!! 3bar, I can imagine it pulls like mad!?? What boost are you running? No wonder you spent so much getting the internals rebuilt!! I would be bending a few things running anything over 1.4bar I think... I remember them changing the sensor when you were on the rollers for a higher boost!!

Are you still going to Scooby Clinic for the work or have you changed? Kent is a drive and a half to there! What happened with that turbo in the end, did you get it swapped?

  • Glad you got it sorted!! Yeah it was a WR1, got the turbo changed for the proper one, had a TD04L (WRX) in for some reason, if you remember it was running at 263, but when they changed it for the VF35, it went up to 310. Still standard, I don't want to change anything at the moment as it's quick enough for me and as it's a limited edition there aren't many around that haven't been modded!!

You got close to the 450 you wanted, nice one, cool car that pal!!

  • yeah i like yours aswell, really smart the wr1's. should be pushing closer to 500bhp in february, have remap with different headers and 3bar map sensor. it goes like your wouldn't believe at the minute, accelarates so hard it takes your breathe away!!!

  • Is this the same car / guy I met at scooby clinic when the Turbo actuator failed to hold boost?

Looks like the same car, can't be too many in that colour ;-)

  • it certainly is! had to wait a couple of months to get it sorted, it was worth it though! how's yours doing now? are you feeling the benefits of the proper turbo? wr1 wasn' it?

  • that looks a bit like my impreza with the carbon hood front mount but all my doors are flushed over. nice car thought 5*

  • i was gonna flush all of my doors also but didnt fancy breaking a window if my battery went flat!

  • yea had that problem two days ago had stick a bit of wood in there and open it with a coat hanger! my car is basicly spittin image of yours with the mirrors and spot covers and i did have the same carbon spliter but it got pinched!
