  • @proslade THIS FUCKING BAND SUUUUCKS!

  • I do not like Quiet Riot.

  • I like it, but I think the Quiet Riot version is better.

  • I don't know what people are talking about with the "edge" in Quiet Riot's version...though I love them equally I feel like Slade has the gritty, raw, edgy version while Quiet Riot's is more polished and produced. Slade didn't have synthesizers or big arena-style drums for instance.

  • @groundedsax Haha. To say Quiet Riot's version is polished is ridiculous. They did it in *one take* and were deliberately trying to make it sound as bad as they could! The drummer improvised, and the singer tried to be off-key and everything. They absolutely hated the song.

  • @inthefade Hence why the producers felt the need to polish the song, i.e. add backing vocals and synths.

  • I've grown to like both the Slade original and the Quiet Riot cover--for different reasons. Quiet Riot's cover version is fast and edgier, it has more crowd-pleasing notes in the chorus and a looser party feel. And while Slade's original is harder, and a little more orderly, it also has a "boogie-woogie" back rhythm to it that's like 1950's "rebellious" rock & roll. Both are great, to me. Maybe Quiet Riot's just playing later at the same party?

  • slade rules!!!!

  • Dowwnload the audio from this song at searchripgrab doht cohm.

  • I like this and Quiet riots both about equally they aren't really too much different

  • @smithsmithdt the siingers almost sound the same to

  • seirously im getting annoyed with songs not giving credit to the original bands. if i hadnt researched this song i wouldve believed it was written by quiet riot.

  • Sounds ok but it is defanitely better with Quiet Riot's harder edge to it.

  • A bit accoustic(sic),but its a hell of a song for its decade.

  • I like Quiet Riot's version better in my opinon...

  • THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG,..

  • NODDY GET UR ASS BACK ON DE ROAD AND SHOW THESE FUCKERS HOW MUSIC SHOULD BE :)

  • noddy holder rules rocks \m/

  • Feel the NOISE

  • How can you not like these guys!Slade are gods!

  • @Melevolentzeroenvoy i dunno. i think "Merry Xmas Everybody" was grounds for execution.

  • imagine if linkin park did a cover of this, or even trapt

  • I think this version and all the cover versions are good. The Quiet Riot cover is ok and even the Oasis is different but still good. I would say much for the twisted sister version but still.

  • Interesting to note that when you're trying to find this title, the predictive search won't work if you use the word "cum". It's just like when you look for a song with "girls" in the title (which is VERY inconvenient, seeing as there are so many of them!).

  • legendary.

  • first heard the oasis cover of this song and i tell you i know like slade

  • oasis are the ones who do the best cover of this song

  • @pentatonicking Oasis? Oasis? You have got to be kidding me.

  • @pentatonicking yeah i agree with you but it's a matter of opinoin!!!

  • come on feel the fuckin noize.yaaaaahhhhhh!!

  • i loved to listen to this song while playing vice city =)

  • finally the original. thanks for uploading this. been looking forever for it.

  • Slade rock!!! :D

  • this song kinda reminds me of substitute by the who

  • i love this so so so much. i hate to compare but god quiet riot is shit in comparison.

  • THIS IS QUIET RIOT MY GOSH PEOPLE ARE STEALING.

  • @sunnylit43 your a fucking idiot slade did this song originaly and about ten years befor quiet riot

  • @sunnylit43 Actually Slade wrote this song and recorded years before Quiet Riot. Although good I always did prefer Quiet's cover as it was harder and had more power. Slade was great and had alot of great tunes. Without them Quiet would never have hit the charts.

  • @sunnylit43 I love how people think Quiet Riot did this first.

  • better than Quiet Riot's version

  • Awwwww breath deep , feel the noise and no reference to the Free Masons or Illuminati and of course if this great song was done now , they'd say Cum feel the Illuminati .

one of the Great Rock songs ....

  • Stop comparing them. They're both good in their own rights.

  • if my dad didn't listen to these guys and other old school rock/metal like deep purple, led zeppelin, rainbow, black sabbath, I wouldn't have become a metal head :D, if this song doesn't make you just a bit "I'm awesome" you're a pussy

  • There really isn't much to compare, if you ask me. This is very similar to Quiet Riots version, actually. QR barely changed anything. They were a little heavier, but other than that...

  • sounds like a slower version of quiet riot (actually reverse that, Slade waz heer misspellin wordz b4 thim!)

  • OMG, I didn't know it was Slide's song, until I found out on Encyclopedia Metallum.

I am not Quiet Riot fan, but that is song I love very much, and now I know that it isn't their.

I don't know what to think now.

I first heard that song on Grand Theft Auto Vice City...

  • isnt it that man that was in brtit awards 2010 presented best british album of last 30 years?? with Liam Gallagher?? =)

  • that is correct. Noddy Holder from Slade

  • This song was the big anthem for teenagers in England in the early 70s.

  • omg, quick, type bloody hell for me! :D

  • BLOODY HELL

  • And wtf is with all those wanks saying how "Oh, I prefer Quiet Riot's version."

For a start, the period from 1967-1973 was the GOLDEN Age of rock/pop music (Yes, better than the 50s). The mid to late 80s was just horribly commercialized junk.

Second... this Slade just has ATTITUDE.

  • @degree7 You must be reading my mind(lol). I would go a little earlier than 67 and a little later than 73. Mid to late 80's, junk isnt the word. Isnt much from the late 80's to today that I would listen to either.

  • i love you!!lol

  • vocalist sounds exactly like quiet riots singer

  • This song was #1 in the British charts on the day I was born. I'm happy with that. :)

  • I didn't even know that Slade did this song first until I read up on them after listening to 'Gudbuy T'Jane' - you hear the cover by Quiet Riot more often. This is pretty awesome.

  • I just think that this song was way ahead of it's time, I think it's a song that is perfect to be covered in any decade and it would still sound amazing, It's just one of those songs that never gets old and people should start seeing how amazing this is instead of comparing it to Quiet Riot's cover.

  • yeah, great song, everybody should play it 'till the end of time :)

  • @Velaoverclocking It will vela, it will be played until the end of time because it's perfect. The more covers you hear the more you realise it.

    Long live The Mighty Slade!!

  • @Velaoverclocking Yeh i agree quiet riots version is rubbish!

  • @GreeceOTOT Yes, this is a great song. One that should never be forgotten. But ahead of its time? Not really. It's a pretty straight forward rock number. It's just a much better tune than most of the others,.

  • @GreeceOTOT QUIET RIOT COVER FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • @GreeceOTOT Quit Riot purposely tried to play it poorly cuz they hated this song and the record producer wanted them to play it.... but he liked the "poor;y played version, so he released it. (:

  • @RapeAllRayPaul yeah, i heard about that

  • Oasis's version is much better than Quiet Riot's.

  • How is Oasis' Version better than Quiet Riot's?

This song is about going crazy and having a good time!

Oasis' cover is too slow, mellow and really didn't catch the spirit of the song. Quiet Riot made it more exciting by adding a little bit of heavy metal to it. So how is Oasis' better if they technically did a bad cover of the song ( by not capturing that WILD WILD WILDNESS!!!)?

  • Skinhead --always on the wrong side ...cum on fell the noize

  • Yoh Cor beat a bit of old Noddy

  • I just listened to them all and nothing comes close to Slade, Quiet Riot and Twisted Sister sound so-so, Oasis sucks the singer sings like a wuss.

  • got to love slade! :D

  • rocks at 12 pm..and 1!

  • fuck me!!!man i haven't heard this 4 ages, never realized how much the late KEVIN DUBROW sounded like NODDY HOLDER .Both legendary singers ,great bands ,beautiful song!!

  • all the bands rock, jeez. i'm leavin this fucking conversation.

  • quiet riot sucks compared to these guys and by the way to anyone who didn't know this slade wrote this not quiet riot

  • Slade is better than Quiet Riot anyday!

  • Why do people come here, and say that Quiet Riot's version of this song is better? Shouldn't they be going to a video for that, and saying it? I'm confused...

  • Comment removed

  • slade create the song, quiet riot make a version.

saying"slade sucks" you saying that quiet riot sucks too

    (I like both)

  • me too

  • Yeah really it's the same song...

  • MattiDaIdiot

  • nope it's slades song

  • Damn dude has a great voice. Kinda lacks the hard rock edge though, but they wrote it and that's good enough for me.

  • maybe cause you listened to the cover version that quiet riot did.....quiet riot did a good job also and so did oasis

  • 1973

  • I think Quiet riots version is better, because i heard the quiet riot version first ^^ but this one is fucking awesome to:D

  • i like this but i feel way more emotion in quiet riots

  • yeah same both good but qr just has a lot of emotion which makes it an awesome song but i like both

  • This is the original/best version in history!!!

  • It rocks 24/7.

  • Okay, okay! True. Here I am listening to it again at 5 in the afternoon. ;-D

  • it rocks everytime in everyplace! you can listen it a hundred times and keep singin' "so cum on feel the noize!"

  • This song rocks at 4am...lol

  • great song

  • I love both Slade's version and Quiet Riot's version, but the original is better. So, Slade's version is a slight bit better.

  • This was the finale song for the Bench Blackout Underwear Fashion Show last year!

  • This is MUSIC!! No fuckin hip-hop or beyonce....makke up :D

  • yeah i no right!

  • @farcry2345 definitely, but I still think Quiet Riot improved on it; this just sounds like a song that should be rocked way harder than he (they?) did

  • @farcry2345 Agree with you totally!!!!

  • @farcry2345 gazillion thumbs up!!!!

  • SLADE were the pathfinders...Everyone else are just settlers

  • i think it is ment to be done a little bit faster like in quit riots version but the backing vocals in this one are a nice touch. quiet riots version also sounds better probably because its newer. all in all they are both good but i prefer quit riots version....

  • quiet riot is so much better than this

  • no.

  • LEGENDS.......what a fucking tune .....

  • absolut!!! Thats Music!!

  • oasis' cover i think is pretty good. not like this but certainly better than quiet riots.

  • slade, to me, can be ranked betweeen david bowie's and t-rex's glam glitter and punk rockers as sex pistols.even bands in the states as kiss always referred to them as an inspiration

  • Kind of like they stole their style form the New York Dolls? i mean barrowed.

  • Slade came before Dolls.

  • This is actually the original song. Quiet Riot's version is the cover.

  • poseur

  • Slade were awesome.

  • ur all missing the obvious comment

    COMEON FEEL THE NOISE!!!!!

  • Much BETTER than Quiet Riots...go figure since this is the original!

  • i like both, but i agree original is always better.

  • Yeah, Quiet Riot's cover was pretty damn good, but it's nowhere near the level of awesome that the original has.

  • great song. much different than quiet riots cover

  • thanks dude!
