Living in the USA, we can not get Renault cars which kind of sucks. Still, the Laguna coupe has to be one of the better looking cars I have seen in a while and the engine that really interests me is that 3.0L turbo diesel. It amazes me that we are stuck with silly little hybrids while the Europeans have all kinds of really hot cars with either turbo diesel engines or super tuned engines in the 1.5 - 2.0l class. Great on fuel and great fun to drive.
Audi A4, BMW 320,Citroen C5, Mondeo 2.2 TDCI, Honda Accord 2.2 iDTEC, Jag 2.2d, Lexus IS 220 D, Merc c200D, Skoda Superb , Passat cc2L TDi sport, Volvo S80. Why would anyone choose Renault with all these choices
theres mre than that to take into account....price,options, vaue for money, reliability engine build.. e.t.c Lagunas are very good cars dont be fooled
And I drive all cars in the company, so I'm in a good position to say: if I have about 45.000€ to spent in a car, my choice will be Renault Laguna or Mazda 6.
The fact you had problems with Renault in the past does not necessary means this is still a problem. Some cars are like that: they appear to had been made in a Friday afternoon, so the maker was excited about weekend and the car becames a problem :-) can be a renault or a mercedes...!!!
We will have to agree to disagree but next time you see a car on the hard shoulder of the motorway take a note of the badge, you might find as i do that is is diamond shaped more than not
@nomoreterrorism what a stupid statement i have had 3 renault laguna's and never had any problems with them 1st class car 1st class ride and 1st class reliabilaty i will never have anything else now only laguna :)
I'm a car fleet manager, managing a fleet with more then 400 cars and would say: Laguna is, as a matter of fact, the best choice along all cars you're mentioning... It has the best ratio price/quality. Now competing seriously with this new Laguna, only the new Mazda 6.
I'm not choosing Renault... our users ARE...! I'm just managing the fleet...! :-) and I would say: I've more problems with VW, BMW, Citroen and Mercedes. I've no issues with Honda and Mazda. I've some issues with Renault, but there are about 300 on the fleet.... I've only 16 BMW's and 3 of them are a big problem. Volvo was a big problem in the past, now they are giving less problems
But the reason because I've so many Renaults is the ratio price/quality. The cost in Portugal for a Renault Laguna 175hp diesel full equiped is around 40.000€.... to obtain a BMW 177hp diesel with the same level of equipment we have to spend about 65.000€.

ATATA timp cat renaultul da garantie anticoroziune DOAR 6 ani fata de 12 cat dau alte firme, nu pot avea incredere in aceasta "firma"!!!

I would say that you are doing your company a disservice by choosing Renault. Their reputation for reliability is poor. I am a motor mechanic.

so cool!
I like it with the Elia rims and the elia Frontlip!
But it is a pitty that they don't have a bigger engine for the GT only for the coupe!
