  • I know this is an old vid but since that is a 20 long and its filled that high that is probably more the 3-4 gallons, i would think it may be 7-9

  • lol i wanna live there

  • how deep is the water

  • what kind of light do you use

  • can fire bellies live with R.E.S turtles

plezzz respond i need 2 know

  • @anoleman11 How big is the turtle? if its under 4 inches you should be fine

  • Is pritty moist theres like an inch of water lol cool vid though

  • Best I've seen

  • nice tank and lol dragon ball z:)

  • I would say man i wouldn't go putting in sticks that have just been rinsed off that's how to bring in infections. Things should soak in warm water for at least 24 hours really other than that looks great :)

  • what type of wall is that? lol

  • best ive seen so far

  • That is a really cool setup you have there,im trying to convince my better half to let us have something similar in the living room instead of getting fish lol,i tried persuading her to let me put my python down there but she is having none of it :)

  • @86Dannyboi show her plenty of dart frogs if they can't get her attention away from fish nothing will there's more interesting species but dart's do draw the eye

  • Holy shit that looks amazing!

  • wow thats really amazing great job!!

  • This is the best setup I've seen! I would love to recreate it similarly when I get some my self

  • what do you feed the tadpole

  • im so glad you got the log in there you said you got it just before you did the video and i think the tank would have been really boring looking without it so great job man!!! :)

  • check out my videos !

  • Lol, I don't have mesh over my tank. But my toads live with my turtles, and they don't have anything to climb/jump out on :3 Good wittle toadies.

  • your set up is my favorite that i have seen. Altho ive heard that gravel is not a good substrate as they could swallow it and get impaction or watever its called. Have u had any problems?

Also ive also worried bout the toads get hurt by filters, it makes me think that they could get sucked up against it, have u had any issues? urs is hidden so its not so bad.

Plus how did u create your waterfall effect?

    Please help

  • Where did you get the base for the land part on the left? Do you have the product's name or did you make it? I am trying to replicate this and two other tanks and incorporate them into one and would like to use this base. I have been searching for a new habitat for my newts because mine is fairy plain.

  • @JohnHodson100 I put a link to it in the description It's a ramp i used for a wall

  • @cory1337 thank you, i really appreciate it

  • I am a reptile experts and i only say this to a few people, great tank

  • So jealous

  • Do you feed it crickets? if so how do you keep them from drowning in the water? lol

  • i think you could make it better you should have a floating log or some bark anyway thats just my idea

  • any one from british if so can you peps help me iv got a small set up (its not finished yet)

  • um where did you purchase the water land divider?

  • you should add smal fish. (:

  • my fire belly ate my tadpole

  • thats a great tank

  • mate where did you get that wall from and how much?

  • what tipe of tank is the right tank for a fire belly toad.

  • land is pretty moist haha good one..... no its just covered in water!!:P haha no offense just was a funny comment of you..nice tank btw....

  • looks great!

  • Hi, this video is excellent. Just wondering: How often do you have to clean it with this set up and what do you actually do to clean it? We're planning to set something about somewhat like this.

  • Like the set up and the desgin I just put a exo Tera waterfall in my firebelly toad setup

  • 2 words- BAD ....ASS

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How do you do the waterfall?

  • this is one seriously sick setup

  • I TAKE THAT BACK SORRY WRONG PERSON!

  • this guy is an idiot.

  • Where did you get the wall thing

  • Hey this is a great video! It showed me alot! If anybody could help me, please check out my videos, they will be posted every Sunday at 7:00 P.M. And on Monday at 2:00 P.M. Thank you so much! And once again, great video!

  • how do you make it so te branch/stick does not get moldy?

  • I want dat tank :( my tank looks lazy... not enough decorations!!!

  • Hey can those fbts be kept in a ten gal with about 8 in of water? There is a large rock exposed where the filter let's out, idk how much land they need. Nice tank man

  • @pamtnbkrms I've tried 3 setups: a majorly terrestrial, a half and half, and a majorly aquatic (8'' of water), and I have to say that this guy did it right. I'd say keep your water to about 4'' at its deepest just because one of a friend of mine's drowned in I believe 6'' of water. Besides, making a half water half land habitat's a lot more fun and creative than specializing in one type.

  • How much did the tank and all the stuff in it cost about. You probally might not get to my comment but if you do please tell me!

    thx BYE

  • Awesome. I'm going to make a setup similar to this and but little fish like guppies in aswell

  • No that kid has a point.. Fire Belly Toads have a toxin in there skin that is poisonous to other frogs, newts, ect.... Good setup but I HIGHLY advise you to separate them... If you dont believe me google it

  • How many gallons is needed for one frog?

  • @MrSummerisHOT I'd say no lower than 5.5 gallons for one toad, 3-4 can comfortably fit in a 10 gallon though. If you want more, I can't safely sure but I could see a good 9 or 10 in a 20 gallon, especially a long.

  • can wild bull frogs be kept? do they have parasites?

  • can you have 1 alone or will it get board

  • @MorphtronicMania I have one right now, had it for a few months and it keeps itself entertained. Just get something for it to hide under and it'll spend hours upon hours trying to find the perfect spot. Also feeding time-- I've heard it's more fun to watch with multiple toads but it's still pretty great with one.

  • ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Question what gal tank is that?

  • How did you get the water to drip like that, is it a pump you just buy from the petstore?

  • @drkingslend He put synthetic (silk or plastic I think, not 100% sure) literally in the top of the filter. That way, the water coming out immediately got caught on the leaves and spread out to eliminate any major current in the water. This can be done with almost any filter. This is a great idea if you plan on feeding your toad any fish as mine had some trouble when the filter's water went straight in.

  • Great tank man! does the water dirty quickly? how often do you changs the water

  • amazing

  • i want a bts baby but i want a tank that will last his or her life so i dont have to swap how much will one cost including lights and accessories

  • yeah that tank is bigger than 20 gallons

  • how do you keep your tank humid

  • its ssssooooo nice i LOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • thats a really cool toad tank! that makes my toad habitat look like like a piece of junk.....:( lol

  • one of the coolest tanks ive ever seen

  • that branch you found is what made the tank look great... Nice Job =}

  • One question, where did you get the wall?

  • what kind of plant is that???

  • Nice setup dude!

  • is that dragon ball z in the background?lol

  • @steelFTBall96 Probably lol kids watching TV

  • I do have a question....When you used the rocks to disguise the filter, did you silicone them in place or anything like that? Can you give more details as to how you arranged them? I had read that you shouldn't put gravel in with the toads, as they could swallow it. Have you had any issues with that?

    The tank looks amazing!

  • I do have a question....When you used the rocks to disguise the filter, did you silicone them in place or anything like that? Can you give more details as to how you arranged them?

  • Really like the setup, going to be taking some things from your video and using them in my own tank! I also like that you are watching "Big" in the background, good movie

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice setup i love it. is there anyway you could make a video telling or showing how you put it together and what objects/brands you used?? that would be alot of help!

  • dood nice tank that really looks like a tropical rainforest so nice show a vid in how to setup a cage like that plz so nice

  • You've definately inspired me to make my setup as fantastic as yours. Like previous users mentioned, a tutorial would be lovely.

  • nice setup

  • I have kept many amphibians throught he years. Years ago I kept fire bellies and American toads together in a similar set up. They did great for awhile. The toads started to die, one by one, over time. This also happened to a friend. Our ignorance of the toxins, killed all of our frogs and toads, leaving the fire bellies as the only inhabitants. This is not something that happened quickly. It took months. Let us know if you have more success with mixing them. Beautiful set up.

  • make a vid on haw to set it up plz

  • your setup is amazing you should make a how to tutorial

  • Hi, this setup is amazing! I agree it would be great if you could make a setup video, but if not, could you explain the setup? I especially like the waterfall effect and the large rocks you used with the gravel on the left side of the tank. I have a 55 gallon with fire bellieds and a paddle-tail newt and am always looking for new ideas. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • Your setup is the best I have seen!

  • you cant put firebellied toads and other frogs/toads together or they will kill each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with their poisonous skin

  • they love each other :) now the tad poles are frogs they all get along :) settle down!

  • cool what do tadpoles eat?

  • they eat frozen lettuce and bread(:

  • they can eat pellets or bread or frozen lettuce

  • @cory1337 Fire Belly Toads have TOXIC skin.

  • @cory1337 are they still alive, and btw amazing setup.

  • @cory1337 He is right though.

  • @elhashow toxic skin. poison is different. please get your facts straight, i have six fire bellies with 2 australian green tree frogs and they get along fine.

  • @elhashow ya man cory1227 is right..they do have toxins in there skin but u can house them with other animals of same habitat cuz its not that harmful to them..u can house frogs.fish.tree frogs..and if ur setup is a lil more land with just a large waterbowl u can house geckos(house or other small species) and anoles as well=)...nice vid..keep em comiun

  • @elhashow dude learn what u state..... fbt's live with my dumpys awesome together

  • Awesome tank setup! 5*

  • u should make a vid on how to set it up i really want to set my tank up like urs a bit

  • Ya...... I really ike that idea

  • cool tadpole

  • hey can u make a HOW to set up a firebelly toad vid id really appreciate it

  • yeah really nice tank, but i do not reccomend putting those tadpoles in the same tank

  • But it'sn not great to keep bull frog tadpoles in the same tank, they should have a tank for their own:) That's just my experiences.

  • Great setup!

  • That's a pro tank setup man, hm did it cost you? deduct tank cost since i already got a 21" tank same as you
