This anime is called "Space battleship YAMATO" originally created by Reiji Matsumoto, a Japanese animator. Yamato was taken from a real battleship that existed and built in WWII to fight with America. No wonder why American changed the original title to the weird name, "Starblazers".

Just how much of the original series is re-animated for the playstation game? I see redone clips from many different episodes and scenes. Did they redo all of season 1 and 2?

the footage is from the PSX game, but the song is original, i mean a fan made a joke with the song and put the neko (cat) symbol on the video

I just came back from Japan and saw the Kureoneko logo(Yamato transport Co.) all over the place and Yamato character commercials on some of the train monitors as I traveled around Tokyo. So it's somewhat legit I guess. It's perfect for them to license the show with a name like Yamato Transport Co.

as Yamato transport Co.
The crew of the Star battleship Yamato is
likened to the parcel delivering crew of Yamato Co.
Though this lyrics can be literally translated,
it is not so easy for non-Japanese people
to understand its fun, I think.
