    NAT is a good security feature to be sure. CBAC can be used in combination with NAT. For access to the VTYs, you can simply permit the traffic on the ACL, for access to the router from the outside. Best practice to use protected access, such as SSH.

    Is CBAC really needed if the network behind the router is NAT-ed? As for management filtering, you just can stick a standard ACL for ingress traffic to the vtys.
