OK i agree with most that i like the older material with Anthony better mainly because the drum work on that EP was fantastic. What most people dont know is that Alex didnt even record the drums for that EP. He wasnt officially in the band at the time of that recording and i personally think that is one of the biggest changes to the bands style. Cove (vocally) hasnt changed the band that much, just lest screaming. So thats just me and i love this band because they are all amazing musicians
All right, apparently I'm the only person who read this one article in AP. When Saosin was lookin for someone to replace Anthony, they got Cove's demo and thought it was Anthony messin with them. Anthony even told Cove that he was meant to sing those songs. Does all that mean Cove is "trying to sound like Anthony"? Maybe, maybe not. I'm guessing probably not. I heard they supposedly wanted Jason Gleason before Cove auditioned.
They're both good but I think with Anthony they were infinately better. I was so excited about this band when I first heard TTN and was gutted when AG left.
both singers are amazing, and have their own unique style. cove has a more clean sounding voice for the newer stuff saosin has been writing, like on their newest album. the older stuff like "seven years" was, in my opinion, more screamo-esque. depends on what saosin you like more. but both are amazing. however, i do not like circa survive so much...

i agree, but i do like circa survive alot now, and i think that thier old album translating the name, was a true work of art. i think anthony's voice suits Translating the Name and Cove's voice suits the New self-titled album. they have awesome voices although i personally prefer anthony =-)

LOL! Yeah I love how these ppl say that Anthony sounds shitty on the Saosin recordings compared to Cove's recordings. Of course its not going to be as refined as Cove's as Cove is recording on MUCH better equipment. Hey, I might have overreacted a bit there, but I still think that Cove has the better voice. But still, be assured, I really like Green's voice as well, it's just that they're so DIFFERENT so you can't really compare their styles! I just happen to prefer Cove. uh I Can Tell was NOT on TTN. The demo version with Anthony was not released on any Saosin Full-length or EP. The final version with Cove was released on a compilation. Get you facts straight.

Nah this song did not get released by the band cause anthony left just after they finished it...however i believe it is on a compilation CD with some other good bands, its called "Music On the Brain Vol.5". as for you 8she7 your a moron...there are 5 songs on there translating the name EP and none of them are I Can Tell.

yeah so i just saw saosin last night at the chameleon and they fucking rocked cove was all over the place crowd surfing. i didnt expect that. as the encore they played mookies and he did a real good job covering it. now i just need to find out when circa survive is playing in my area and see them as well. both bands are great.
