It's an awesome show, and yes it can be a bit risqué, but no more so than any other adult-centric cartoon.

As for the potentially perceived religion-bashing aspect of the episode, it's all in good humour, and once they recognise that God does make a difference in their world, they set about saving God. So technically Chode and Gus are murderers and gods themselves in that they brought the big G back to life.

So they occupy two polar extremes, and that can't be changed.
