Man, the only thing more embarrassing than how bad you are at dogfighting is how bad your opponents are. Kids on console are terrible. Also, that map looks painfully empty with 24 players.

a good way to turn fast is to decrease speed while turning, and when yor gonna come out of the turn soon, fire afterburners, your gonna make a much sharper turn...

bought this game when it came out..i just learned how to fly a jet today..still dont have any kills :( i only have 10 jet points i dont have any perks cause when i take off, the enemy plane is right behind me. as soon as i leave the ground my jet goes boom

heat seekers are useless.... the only way you are going to get anyone with talent is to sneak up behind them and blast them with machinegun.... but more than likely anyone with talent has air radar on... so you spend the entire round chasing each other and not getting any points,

A good pilot can avoid a heat seekers without IR flares.

Your better off with cannons and rocket pods to support your ground team.

The game design is very bad when it comes to flying jets,because it is very easy to get cheap kills on people who cant take off or are just taking off, and how do they expect me to kill people when all I have is a mini gun? should I try to kill one guy by trailing him the entire game just to get 100 or so points? so until you get missiles and flares your dead. plane and simple (pun intended)

If they spawn kill you spawn with a stinger and scare them away then jump in the jet. The mini gun is the best weapon and after a few games you should be able get at least 3 air to air a few ground kills through guided missile or rocket pods.

If your not that good play like wing-man to the other jet and kill the jets following him/her

Ill get a capture card to show you why not to use heatseekers, why air radar is a life saver, and braking, boosting (afterburners, not fag boosting), landing while disabled, tankbusting, dogfighting manuevers, defensive driving, offensive, raging at your face not to base rape for multiple reasons, and if any body reads this i will make a helocopter video with all the helocopters. The guy on the right had someone on his cockpit. For some unknown reason a player on top of a jet's cockpit drives it into the ground. A simple fix for this is to shake the plane side to side just before taking off.

Stingers are basically useless against jets. Whenever a stinger is locking onto me, I will use my flares. As it will be locking onto me again, I will turn on my afterburners and fly off (because stingers cannot lock on if you are too far away). Even if the stinger manages to get the lock before I have flown away, it will only hit me once (heatseekers can fire two missiles at a time, stingers can only fire one), so my jet won't be disabled and will heal itself in about 10 seconds.

If you want to be pro in the jet follow this guy's tips but use the autocannon or whatever it's called never use heat seekers just practice with the cannon and you'll be owning in no time. My set up is air radar , extinguisher and rocket pods and have 4 service stars on the jet. And if you get very good you can even kill soldiers on the ground with the autocannon.

in the beginning another player spawned on top of the jet, its a glitch, all you do is when you on top of the jet keep running forward and eventually the jet will blow up killing you and the individual inside

If you want to know how to menuveure and fire at the same time you just basically follow what the enemy does. Sometimes the can get you killed or commit suicide, but they usually just try to escape through flying not dying.

What I like to do in jets is play rush as a defender on Kharg Island. Try to get into the SU-25 at the beginning because if you don't, you probably won't in the whole game. The attackers come from the Aircraft carrier, mostly in boats or tanks which you can take out with Rocket pods quite easily and make a hell of a load of points. Turn around and repeat and you should have your first service star in about 10-15 games.

I've got pretty much used to flying jets after thousands of trials but never knew how to get rid of an enemy jet chasing my ass. So the secret is to reduce the throttle and make a sharp turn. Hummm. Nice tip Henry!

If a jet is trying to lock on to me, I will just do a lot of turns and break his lock. Even if he does manage to lock onto me, I'll use my flares. What I'm saying is, it's so easy to counter heat seekers. The jet machine gun is the best thing for killing other jets.

Tip : DONT turn with boost on. = 100% death

i have a request. can u make a video to show how to evade missiles. losing the guy behind ur tail is quite easy for me but to evade a missile is just seem impossible barrel roll or sharp turn when the missile get close enough. it seems impossible to evade. but somehow theres 1 or 2 times i get to evade the missiles without flares. i just cant figure it out how. after using flares for the first craft. then another missile came from AA or heli which really get me to eject.
