I like 5:08-5:13! A minor tonic chord is played when closing the Fantasia. In most performances, a major chord is heard there. I don't know what Bach wrote, but I like the minor chord more. A major tonic chord does not fit in the piece I think...
I've been looking for this piece for two years. Finally, I found it. Playing Bach on an organ, plus a complicated piece means years of practice. This man is amazing. He really understands what he is playing and gave such effort to perform such a masterpiece!

This has been described as totally mechanical and without life. Put yourself out in the body of the cathedral listening rather than watching a world class organist make it look easy. That's always the sign of an expert when they make something look easy and here, he didn't even seem to break into a sweat! Superb thankyou and please post more of your work.
Esta es la más impresionante melodía de Bach, la fantasía en sol menor, pero donde se oye impresionante es en la catedral de Puebla, nunca olvidaré la impresión, inclusive esta interpretación es inferior a la que le oí al célebre "Panchito"
i did not write that coment below. i dont write mean stuff about anyone on you tube if you see my coments you no . report that coment to you tube and they will no did not come from me
I dont think he needs you to tell him how to play considering hes a concert organist, but hey maybe you should upload the videos you have of you playing these extremely complex pieces of bach
joeyboi87. . . .you would be a GREAT friend to have!!!! :-) Don't give it another thought about the negatvie comments. Number one. . .they have probably NEVER played this piece. . .and number two. . .probably never played in a room with this much acoustic. They wouldn't understand that playing detached at the console, makes it legato in down in the nave.

Reminds me of C.P.E. Bach's comment about keyboard playing that is a bit like the sound of someone chopping cabbage.

this is a very difficult piece. the way he plays is amaizing! when you see it you should rather think, it is nothing special, it must be very easy

I like your playing, very comfortable, not rushed. The video seems to make the mixtures screech. Maybe it is my ears.

Brilliant! The fugue is a tad too fast for my taste though.

I'm working to memorize this piece at my university right now and can most definitely appreciate a performance this spectacular!

It is indeed. Uploading too many videos at a time can be dangerous... (especially when it's late). Thanks for noticing (and for your comment).
