  • do you used the 4x4 ?

  • @tulitobrother no, truck is 2wd

  • wow

  • its ok but it couldn't tow my 3055 bayliner ciera its weighs about 12,500 dry and about 15,000 roughly with the gas tank and water tank full,, by the way its a beautiful boat, google image it.

  • Owners at various "for sale" websites around the internet list the 1986 Sea Ray 270 Amberjack at 6700-7200lbs. Allowing 750-1000lbs for the trailer, do you truly have an additional 2500lbs of fuel, cargo, and equipment (the weight equivalent of a small car) within the boat?

  • @stewartx5 lets see, those weights are usually "dry weight" hull only. we had the tanks nearly full ready for a week of camping, not to mention camping gear stored in the mid bilge.190 gallons of gas(220 capacity), 5.9 to 6.4 lbs per gallon, thats 1121 lbs right there, ad a generator, ac, 25 ft of anchor chain, anchor windless, fishing gear, tv, coolers, am i missing anything else? we did have a 8500 lb capacity trailer and broke an axle after 4 months of use, and it was new a new trailer.

  • Is that really 10,500 lbs? If I put that much weight in back of my truck it would be nearly touching the ground.

  • @abram7117 yes, loaded weight with trailer is roughly 10500 lb +/- 200 lb. as i stated in the previous comment, its not supposed to sag, you either have too much tongue weight or your springs are shot... we spent every weekend for a month dialing in the weight distribution on the trailer because we tow it almost every weekend from march till november. our springs are starting to show age. but thats expected as we have over 70K and tow some sort of trailer almost every weekend out of the year...

  • hey man is that really 10500lbs

    because it aint saggin

  • its not supposed to sag, when it sags you either have too much tongue weight or your rear springs are shot... if i hitch it up to my f150 with 150k well abused miles, it will sag about 4 inches

  • hm now i installed helper springs the ride is very stiff and it doesnt sag any more

becuz i pull my fifth wheel the weighs that much but my truck only has 24000 and its an 05

but the helper springs dont let the trruck squat

    but the f150 truly sucks

  • we have a little over 60K miles on our dodge and it still runs like new. every chevy we had burned the tranny up by 55k... the only mods we've done to this truck is a larger tranny cooler, and and simple exhaust and intake, came with 4.10 gears and limited slip

  • Nice Sea Ray. Check out my 87 "Chang
