@NBAMixerMan once you get to level 10 you get "talents" you can access these by pressing the "n" button or going to your micro-menu. there are 3 choices for mages, fire, frost, and arcane. you get talent "points" at every level after 10. make sure to spend them wisely!

Hey.. just a tip : While you gather up the mobs... you can Ice Block and wait for them to Gather up on you then Break the Ice Block so it caan freeze the mobs in place then Blink away then BLizzard . and you can save you Frost Nova for when the mobs Come at you Again . :)

Just saying, a paladin is much eaiser to do that with in EPL or WPL because you have "Holy Wrath". Aggro like hell, consecration, at about 50% health cast "holy wrath", Holy Light while they're stunned, consecration, rinse and repeat. :]

I dont agree its the fastest way of grinding. The fastest way is when u dont need to stop to regain mana or life.

For example when i was leveling as a shadow priest! I didnt need to stop, i was running and doting all targets, life was regenerating throught VE and mana thought Imp SF and dispersion.

My favorite way to do it, is go into shatter and imp cone of cold, do your shiled mount etc. when you pull get them tight and use cone of cold, then nova, and then bliz, since you have shatter your blizz does amazingly more damage considering the increased chance to crit

It's more efficient to quest, but I know a lot of people who are used to grinding from other games (such as Diablo 2 and Ragnarok) rather than questing and find it more more intriguing. But questing is indeed faster. When you can kill that many mobs AND do it for a quest, you can get a lot more experience than that. That being said, frost is the most popular leveling spec- ALTHOUGH I know many, many other mages that level in the other specs just fine. So it's a matter of opinion, really.

It's also preferable to use Ice Block before the first frost nova, to get all the mobs really tight clustered for easier blizzarding. He almost died when he rushed in and did some random cone of cold / arcane explosion as well :p

Your guide is not flawless ! You didn't spent into Shatter and Ice Shards, because when i Blizzard like this on frozen targets, i get 2 times bigger crits, but maybe when you filmed this, Frost talents were different. Anyway, i use this, in instances.. its fun and its fast :D and i dont use mana shield Ice Barrier is enough. my mage is 44 so blizzard hits for more dmg.

use ice armor instead of mage armor, dont spend talents in frostbite or shatter, use icy veins and water elemental's frost nova helps. but now blizz can crit so it s much easier now..

frost mage and human... two mistakes for the same person... you know why most mages pick to be frost specced?, because being frost it's easy... fire has the best dps and mana efficiency, but it's harder to use... so basically you're being lazy... I get to kill the same number of mobs in more time, but they doesn't almost kill me in each pull as they did with you. in fact, they hardly get to even touch me. So yeah, it's not a faster way, it's quiet stupid

AoE mage grinding is a nice way to earn XP, but if you build your talent tree never put any point on Frostbite. It makes you some glitches as you can see in the vid at 3:25 . Some of the mobs became frozen in place and the next blizzard wont affect them, as the rest will come closer and you must mess with them (whose closer)

it was pvp. look at the mages flag in the corner of the screen. plus the target of the horde comes up as red instead of yellow. thus they're both flagged. the horde just let him level. lol

one thing i noticed: u start out the vid with only 2 bars left to ding, then when you do the pull u have around 6-8 bars to ding, then when u show how much xp u got, u went back to when u had only 2 bars left, there was 2 pulls, at 2 diff times. first pull u were farther from lvling than the second but u showed the amount of xp from the second to make ppl think you gained 6-8 bars of xp. u will never get that much xp from that small groups of mobs, try to acually be good at WoW next time
