Gears of war- killing final boss Raam and ending

Heres a tip for the people who still cant beat RAAM:

1. Plant fragsbehind cover where you first come in

2. Take him out from afar with crossbow

3.When hes close make sure your still at the cover i told you (1.)

4.When hes behind your cover quickly get to the other side of that cover and blind fire when the kryll are gone trying to kill you ( but your still in the light)

5. Kill general RAAM.... LIKE A BOSS!

Me and my friend did this on hardcore, I finished off RAAM with a headshot.

He was using the bow thingy to chase the bats away.He was out of ammo on all his guns so I used a grenade to damage him (Not really, mostly to scare the bats away)

And the grenade got his health really low and I got the last bullet on my sniper and BEEWM, HEADSHOT!When the clip started roling I noticed he had no head anymore,LOL!

wow.uhhhh u suck. try beating the whole game on insane by yourself. on insane you basically run out of ammo. and its a whole different tactic. you run across the train like 4 times and you will lose unless you get like only headshots.

the raam boss fight was brilliant, much better than that quick time event shite with skorge i want to shoot skorge to death not tap b. by the way raam was way harded than skorge it took me 18 times to finaly kill raam on easy first time. also i liked the look of raam he represents every thing about gears you know, a huge badass that looks as if he could rip your head off. skorge wasn't intimidating enough.

Raam is harder on every difficulty but insane in my opinion. If you take on Skorge on insane without a gameplan you're going to die. The Raam battle is a little more linear.

Beat him on hardcore to get the "dish best served cold" achievement. Used torque bow only to get rid of krill and used longshot to get as many clean headshots as possible, tried to get supercharge everytime. Came damn close to dying many times but managed to do it.

The best way to do it is get a sniper and full grenades. Then blow the kryll away (with grenades) or wait for him to send em away and blow his head up with the sniper. If he comes near you run to opposite end of car and repeat. Reply if this helped you. :)

I found it better to scatter them with the grenades and use a Torque bow. It deals an insane amount of damage compared to the sniper.

On insane it takes about 6 Torque shots and a few lancer shots to kill him (Grenades used to scatter the Kryll). You have the supplies in the room before RAAM.

It is actually possible....I always beat him using JUST the Lancer machine gun, and he almost NEVER reaches me.

The problem is that you have to be SPOT ON with the "Active Reload".
