please when it comes to ur own personal survival dont try to go as small as possible. a shoulder bag is not that big and it can hold everything u need. dont rely on an altoid survival kit.

What about protection I mean like in the wild there could be animals that could hunt u down to survive to like bears mountain lions packs of wolves I mean there is a lot of things in the wilderness that will turn food around as in instead of u hunting for animals animals will be hunting u down and not all of them go alone show up in front of u when u expected and some may not be alone so that is why I always think about protection in my kit because anything could come and hunt u down

I have an old first aid metal container...the kind that hangs on the wall..it is waterproofed with a sealing o-ring..and I also use it for my mess plate when out camping.

My survival container is 35' long and made by the pacemaker motor yacht corporation.

The composting toilet supports 30 vegetable plants.

storage for 350 gallons rain water.

The solar panels support the Verizon Broadband and I'm in the waters off key west

For barter I have a small boat construction/repair facility. (foam filled pontoon raft also 35' long) and went to boat building school for four years.
