you could also use just the reverb alone and set the decay to the max so that the wet signal lasts for ever and then fade it out slowly. Then render it to audio and reverse it back, you'll have an awesome fade in effect that is just killing it when used with vocals and percussion!

Then with Fruity Smapler you can Reverse it the 'normal way'

All u really got do is record a sound in reverse with a reverb/delay effect on and then just reverse that back so it plays normal but it will have the "reverse" effect on it

ok if i hit a key on the FL piano and the sound keeps going for a like a second or two..

it depends whether if u r using the piano roll or the step sequencer.. if ur working with the piano roll.. open the channel of sample/generator/etc. and go to the tab that says FUNC which is placed next to MISC,INS,SMP.. then go to the bottom left controller TIME.. switch the left knob all the way to the right till it says OFF on the status bar.. that way the key will stay on sustain til the end of the key drawn in the piano roll.. plus u might need to tweak the SUSTAIN knob of the generator..

it applies to any sound u r using.. no matter if it is a sample or generator or synth or whatever.. now.. if u just want the key to sound a certain amount of time no matter if u r using the piano roll or the step sequencer.. then just follow the same instructions as for the piano roll but instead of tweaking the knob to OFF.. set it to the exact time u want it to be held.. 1:00 1 hit,2:00 2 hits,3:00 3 hits,4:00 whole beat.. but dont forget about the SUSTAIN cuz its the main key to all of this!!

Version 8 what? I have FL 7 XXL Producer Edition, and the function tab is there. The only thing I could think of is you don't have a full version. It should tell you the full version name when you open the program, if not go to Help, then to About at the bottom.

several ways to do that: on the tool bar where the play, stop and record controls are, there is also a small window right on the right of a joystic icon. Set that to none, that is for the playlist. For the piano roll, open the puano roll and clic the small grid icon on top of the piano roll window and set it to none
