@rasskal 'It's a story about a guy named Sammy who works in a bar (i.e. the Emerald Bar), and wants to quit and make something of his life, but his boss doesn't want him to go, and tries to discourage him. The meaning of the song is that sometimes you have to go after your dreams to make them come true. If you don't at least try, you will always lead the same life that perhaps you don't want to live.'

It seems to me that words were not enough to describe the greatness of this song,pure beauty & perfection both musically & lyrically;a superb classic rock masterpiece from a legendary band(Queen),along with "We Are The Champions"(both from the same LP),this song has a very anthemic,powerful,moving & inspiring quantity in it especially lyricwise;very uplifting,the kind of songs which unforunately/sadly almost totally absent on today's music scene.Thank You Hvnly777 for uploading this classic.

Hi ! A big Thank you for sharing, I've always loved this song . I had put it in a Juke-box in a Bar where I was working, it was the B side of "We are the champions" on a 45t, and like the clients were always putting the A side, I was always putting the B sides of many 45t. And was listening to this song in the morning, when I was oppening the Bar. Makes me remember only good memories. Well done. 5/5 ! BYE !
