I got this game to run on my PC (Windows Vista) thanks to the patch and a fix download. After getting 2 golden keys in the LOST Kingdom park, I decided to stop playing and continue today. Today the game won't start. It's just too old but a classic... at that. Maybe if I got a decent Windows 98 / 2000 computer... :l I won't downgrade though.

@xRedster All you did was put the CD in and install it to get it workin'? Nice... Vista is a bit more annoying and difficult. You never know if something will work right without some strange error(s) / security question popping up in your face.

@CPPolice9 Perhaps. I own the Dutch version of this game and on start up it clearly tells me ''Welkom bij Theme Park World'' Which means '"Welcome to Theme Park World'' During my childhood I never called it by a different name.

@xRedster in USA it was released as "sim theme park" but in the rest of the world it was released as "theme park world"... even in the us copies the splash screen says "theme park world" but the packaging says "sim theme park"... the weird crap they do when importing here...

@EvilDoctor05 Possible you might be able to get it on PS3 now you mention it actually, I'm quite sure you can get Theme Park from the PS1 classics on PSN store as I was thinking of getting it not long before PSN went down, along with Theme Hospital. Whether Theme Park World is on there too I'm not completely sure, nor am I sure about anything to do with Xbox 360.

@Pspimp Well yh but it's just better to play on the PC than the PS2, on the PC you can close the park and all the peeps will go out the park while you catch up on your cleaning, building ect... but on PS2 it won't let you do that, if you 'close park' it takes you back to the island selection screen...

@Pspimp ... Another thing is on the PC you can build as many shops and features to your hearts desire, BUT on the PS2, you have a limited amount to use! For example you can only build 30 features in the whole park! Which is rather annoying especially when the little annoying black dot pops up and tells you "you need to build more toilets"... well you can't! Because you used up all your features, so you always find yourself deleting scenery to build damn toilets! lol xox

Yeah I had that years ago, I got a theme park patch which sorted everything out, and it played great! You can download it from google, remember to type in what computer you have otherwise the patch will be no good! :) I went through everything to get the game to work, and only the patch works :) good luck!! if you need further help just ask i'll do what I can :D xx

Wow, I didn't expect to see this on YouTube! I love this game! =^_^= Yeah, I've been better at playing it too since I was around that age. Although now it's somewhat boring for me... maybe because I hacked it so that I have an almost infinite amount of money in every park XD

I'm glad you liked it! I think Theme Park is an underrated game and should be shown more on Youtube! I can't make more videos at the moment because I'm on vacation in Holland and I don't have the CD with me. Plus the loss of my uncle is throwing things in disorder a bit.

I have the mac version, and it won't work on Leopard, but if anybody still has a computer that isn't upgraded to that, but is Panther, you need to download a special something from the official website to play the game. Just thought to help out any Mac users :D
