  • こいつ今なにやってんだろ?

  • body design: stolen from ferrari spider

    engine: stolen from Mercedes 108.920

intake: Although marked Hitachi we all know it as the british SU

    suspension: McPherson Germany

brakes: can't remember but definitely not by nissan

I'm a Z owner but not quite proud. History is often heart breaking but yet the truth

  • @xgrapher So what ? The Ford GT isn't even 100% American and Lotus uses a Toyota engine on some of their cars. Though they are great cars. Nissan does it and they get dissed ? If you are not quite proud to own a Z then sell it.

  • @xgrapher suspension: McPherson Germany??????? With a name like that you must be joking. "Earle S. MacPherson was born in Highland Park, Illinois in 1891" ...everyone knows that.... even the Japanese!

  • AAA membership anyone?

  • 運転してるおっさんのドヤ顔と、アクセルワークがキモ過ぎる

  • 6 ppl are jealous of an L28 stroke out to be 350 hp and around 300-350 tq, while most american motors need the 5.8L v8 to make 350. Japan engineering rocks!!!

  • @aworkingman that 350 horsepower only comes at the expense of many THOUSANDS of dollars. A simple stroker kit will only net you negligible gains in horse power. Horse power gain is not the ultimate point of a stroker L28, torque is. A stroker kit grants you increased and more consistent torque throughout the power curve. More torque at lower RPM's mean greater acceleration. A robello 3.0 stroker will set you back 8 grand easy.

  • @aworkingman hahahahahaha wow. yes american motors take 5.7L to make 350 hp, but that same motor makes over 350 ft lbs of torque stock. now drop the same amout as this car took just to get to 350hp and ur makin way over 450 at the motor

  • how is that talking shit at all, I was just explaining a small noise, which is very easy to fix

  • she have a same bodykit and same wheels to the "devil Z" in WANGAN MIDNIGHT (anime version)

  • @TheVladivostok87 you do realize ..... nevermind you wangan people compare every z to the devil z from wangan midnight ugghhh

  • @240ZWarrior I hate that damn cartoon!

  • NICE..

  • really likin the wheel tire combo

  • Six people have small dick syndrome.

  • really nice

  • whats the name of these rims? and size ?

  • @dxb280z they look like watanabe rs ,looks like 14" or 15" not sure...those rims were popular for s30 and for ae86... hope it helps :)

  • @dxb280z

konig rewinds or watanabe rs i think there about 14''

  • @breaktobroken

LOL Konig wasn't making the watanabe knock off in 91. So they would have to be either real wats or panasports.

  • @bigtoepfer they are real watanabes ... panasports are lame

  • whoever gave this video thumbs down has never driven 240Z / NA straight 6...

  • hope my S 30 Fairlady will sound a good as that!!!

  • got a paint code for this? cant tell but looks like a low shade of bronze

  • BEAST

  • Hey its DK from tokyo drift HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

  • I wonder what that Z looks like today?

  • @azn069 probably sittin in a garage with no dust on it.thats how I would take care of it.such an awsome car!

  • 鍋田の裏ですね。懐かしいです。

    今では考えられない位盛り上がってましたね

  • sounds like its going to fall apart

  • sounds more like a twin plate clutch..

    very cool car

  • the starter isnt retracting all the way, very common problem on these and datsun 510's

  • @gpc510 shit talker

  • yes that is the chatter of a twin plate clutch when the pedal is depressed..also you can tell from the quick throttle response.

  • It sounds good, but it sounds like your starter is hitting the fiywheel.

  • sounds absolutely beautiful!

    similar to exotic v12...

  • Anyone have any idea what year this Z is? Looks like it's a 260Z to me. I know it says 240Z in the tags for the vid, but the tail lights are for a 260Z/280Z. Conversion maybe? Either way, this is a very nice Z. I wish my '77 280Z was as nice as this one.

  • It's just an S30 or S31 Fairlady Z. from 74~78. These were all 2 liter 6 cylinder L20 in Japan and always came with thin bumpers. This guy put an L28 in it

  • S31? Never heard of that. I know of S30 and S130 though.

  • is the L28 a 2.8L inline 6? i love oldschool Nissan's, you just don't see enough of 'em around that haven't been totally bastardized.

  • love ur watanebees 8 spokes

  • devil z ????????haha

  • cool

  • kai means "modefied"

  • Spool or welded?

  • Wow that thing sounds amazing.

  • its a variant or changed in this case its a kai L28 because its been bored and stroked out to 3.1L instead of the stock 2.8L

  • 3.1L=jesus

  • mmmmm datsun!

  • lmao I know that place.

  • is a L28

  • L28 stroker and a big cam. They do sound like V8's.

  • sounds nothing close to a VQ..

  • that's because it's a V-6.

    the L28 is I-6

  • i know that, i was just telling that jcullop1 person that the L28 sounded nothing close to the VQ

  • inline 6 hunny

  • nice sounding car man. what kind of exhuast are you running?

  • anyone notice the date? either the vid is decent quality for its age or his camera's date is way off ^_^

  • There was this thing called film, always had great picture quality... :p

  • sounds like it needs a tune...

  • 4th gear sounds awsome!!!!!!

doesnt it sound clanky? when starting it and in reverese? can someone explain this to me... i forgot alot of stuff in Auto 1

  • sounds like its something wrong with the starter/flywheel, or just the vibrations of him being on/off the clutch vibrating something

  • It's the sound of a twin or triple plate clutch when the clutch is engaged. This sound is only unique to twin plate or triple disc clutches

  • pretty NICE!

  • oooh looky at the black MA70!

  • Can anyone reply to me on this question?

Could this car fit me comfortably?

Me being an Asian guy, 5'11", 205 lbs.

I could barely fit in my boy's '86 Corolla, I head rubbed against the headliner.

  • I dont think so dood. Im 5'9 and my head almoste hits the top of mine

  • hey man, you never know, old vehicles were something bigger inside or larger. Try. Also, theres vehicles with inside seats customized.

  • Great effort. I just keep listening for a chirp into 3rd to complete what is, to me, an excellent demo! Cool vid man.

  • errr it wasn't a German designer. Albretch Goertz did not design the 240z. Yoshihiko Matsuo was responsible for its beauty.

  • wrong, you are referring to an old joke about the name "datsun". It had nothing to do with Germany btw it was about the USA (datsuns primary market).

Datsun means "son of DAT" and the US versions where called datsun instead of nissan because nissan made war vehicles for ww2. Wanting to market their vehicles in the US afterwards, they name was changed so that ex-servicemen were not immediately offended.

  • @deviousKA Correct... being a previous owner of a s30 it's funny to note that the engine is stamped "Nissan"

  • @deviousKA

Wrong, sun stands for sun (the sun is the symbol of Japan and if you write Nissan in kanji the 1st kanji is the character of the sun 日/nichi) and DAT are just the first letters of the 3 foundators of the company (Kenjiro Den, Rokuro Aoyama et Meitaro Takeuchi)

  • ahhhhhh glory.

  • its about time one of your vids had a reasonably correct power figure

dont waste your time watching the ae86 , supra

  • sounds exacly like the devil z

  • amazing sound it makes :]

  • sick s30!!!!!! what type of engine is it.

  • It says L28 So im thinking it's the Fuel injected 2.8 straight six its amazing super clean and Clean exhaust sound Mad props

  • Since it says 3100 I'm assuming it's a triple carbed L28 that's been bored and stroked. I doubt it's fuel injected because that Z has the distinct sound of carbs at WOT.

  • ya. sounds carb to me.

  • WOW

  • hot ass cars!!!
