  • Boo's cage is not small, it is only for him to sleep in for the winter. His habitat is huge for him to roam in in the fall, summer and fall. This year his colours are amazing. Great job KHMR staff!!! He is an amazing bear. Too bad carrie isnt around :( Great Job Sarah, Jube, Ross, and Atam AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • The cage I imagine you saw is his winter hibernation pen. His habitat is 22acres. Boo was only 10pds when they first found him after his mother was shot by a poacher. BC govt normally shoot orphaned cubs as a humane way to save them from starving to death or being picked off by predators. Not ideal situation, would be better to live in the wild, yes, but people learn lots and maybe understand and connect better with wildlife through this experience.

  • Poor Boo, he has such a small cage, they say at kicking horse that he was rescued and they saved him but truthfully that is bs, he could have been rehabilitated and released, its just a cash grab for them!

  • What a great way to start your journey!

  • Cool video Mike!
