@99capsfan then why the heck did you give him a tip? no offense but your a kid and hes an ahl goalie whos played the position probably longer then you've been born. hes a goalie with a tight bfly so having that top strap a lil tighter helps to close that butterfly/fivehole better. but the high strap that always has to be loose is the strap in the knee area, if that one is too tight your butterfly will be horrible.the goalie in the video has the thigh-level strap tight, which helps close the bfly

he has his calf straps all black, his knee lock and the 2 white straps, dont go above the knee. I have never seen a goalie with 7 straps on his leg. so there you go, like i said before, he has no straps ABOVE the knee
