  • How do we know an agenda is involved? Simple. If the global warming alarmists were really only interested in the welfare of the Earth, one would expect them to be delirious with joy that the threat of anthropogenic global warming doesn't really exist after all. But quite to the contrary, those whose paychecks are dependent on the global warming industry are in a total panic to reassure us that, yes, there is a real danger, and it is all our fault!

  • Who gives a f@£k as to what his academic qualifications are?!

The emails' proof and implications speak for themselves!

Personally, I am as a happy as a pig in shit since this story broke - it confirms all that I already knew.

The saddest / scariest part of this whole thing is the mainstream media's blatant decision to ignore such a significant story!

Really lends credence to a lot of what is commonly referred to as "conspiracy theories".

I am so happy I am not from the "1st World".

  • Dr. Ball has been a professor of Geography not Climatology as he claims. He is not a Doctor of Science as he claims but a Doctor of Philosophy. This is not ment to imply that Dr. Ball is restricted from coming up with some good ideas. It does show that he is attempting to brand those ideas with an authority that he has not earned.

  • From Wikipedia:

Ball has a B.A. degree from the University of Winnipeg, an M.A. degree from the University of Manitoba in 1970 in Geography[2], and a Ph.D. degree in climatology[3] from the University of London, England in 1983, writing a thesis analyzing historical weather records from Canada's north.[4] Ball taught geography at the University of Winnipeg from 1973 to 1996, starting as a Sessional Lecturer and retiring as a Professor. Are you saying this information is false?

  • @bodeedoe Dr. Tim Ball is entitled to his opinions, even if they exceed the bounds of "accepted science and practice". He is not entitled to make false and exaggerated claims to his academic background is support of his ascertions. Dr. Ball has recanted many of his academic claims and his true background remains clouded (pun).

  • And I agree... If he is not a climatologist he shouldn't go around saying he is. But you are the first person who I have heard say that he is not who he says he is. I found no evidence searching the internet. I did find a Canadian free press article from February of 2007 where he claims "...I was one of the first Canadian Ph.Ds. in Climatology..."

Can you reference any evidence in support of your claim, that he is not a climatologist?

  • Dr. Balls claims to his own credentials are well documented throughout the web as well as in an ongoing lawsuit. There are legitimate AGW authorities but I would not place Dr. Ball amoung them.

  • @bodeedoe Probably.

  • Thank you for the information. I will be investigating it further.

  • You Welcome and thanks for being so polite!!!!!
