I have read a lot of comments saying Mar Sharbel help us, save us, protect and watch over us. Why are you giving him the qualities of a god? I understand when you ask him to pray for you (intercession) but why go overboard and ask him things that only God himself can do?
Saints protect us save us and watch over us throught Gods power. Jesus shared in his mediation John 20:21 "as the father has sent me so i send you". St Peter walked on water...through the power of jesus. The saints and Mary always lead us to Jesus. We recognize only God can do these things. We honor the ones God honors.
That doesn't mean that you should attribute to Saints what only God himself can do. The God of the bible is a jealous God and he says in the ten commandments worship no other but me. I know that you do not mean to worship the saints, but you must put them in proper context, behind God.

i come from a village right next to 3annaya where saint charbel is from...but we r muslims shia's,and we've lived in the area for hundreds of years with the christians and the people there love each other its amazing...my great-grandfather actually knew saint charbel personally,may god bless lebanon!

Just to correct you, St Charbel is actually from a village in north Lebanon called Barkafra. St Charbel served at the monastry in Annaya and today that is where his body is laid to rest.
