  • That is so cool

  • nice job dude :)

  • You could totally kill a deer with that.

  • What trigger did you use for this?

  • @wandererxman1

A 1/8" push button vent valve.

  • @mpmrla It seems like most of these valves run around 150-200psi, do you what would go any higher? I mean I know there must be something, because those shin sung Large Bore air guns run at around 3000psi for 10 shots. I was thinking of doing something similar to what you have here, except make it semi auto.

  • @wandererxman1

you can make your own 1/8" trigger valve that will handle higher pressures. You can make your own piston valve to replace the QEV. A valve that has a max op. pressure of 250 psi will actually have a much higher burst pressure. You would need a machine shop to make a HPA hammer valve gun like a shin sung and you would probably have a gun that was worth several thousand dollars like a Gary Barnes gun. These guns are a totally different animal.

  • cool idea, but a good idea is to put a compression coil spring in magazine so the balls don't roll around freely, then you never have to take your eye off the target. doesn't need to be anything powerful, just long enough to reach the whole length of the magazine.

  • @flamedrag18

my gun gives you a great simple starter.

if you can think it some day you can do

    get cracking!

  • This rates pretty high on my thats effin cool scale.

  • @MrkBO8

    Thanks

  • Thats the nicest homemade air rifle I have seen in a while

  • @smeagle9999

    Thanks

  • this is why I like youtube. very nice construction , I am impressed with the accuracy at this low pressure. what is your school background or what type of work do you do ?

  • hey nice home-made rifle, just wondering bout a few things. Its quite accurate, what is the barrel made out of and is it rifled? and in the vid was it hooked up to a hpa tank or a compressor?

  • @GunnerCollins

Lot's of details can be found in my earlier videos. The 50 caliber has a T/C inline muzzle loader barrel. Muzzle loader barrels can be purchased today for less than $50.00 if they have a cosmetic defect.

  • To all my viewers please be safe and never shoot a ball that is harder than lead at target

that is harder than lead. Please do not shoot steel ammo in a gun such as this one or

    you'll put your eye out!

  • if the ammo is metal put a ring of magnets around the back of the barrel so it will stop the ammo roling down the barrel

  • @MrAirsoftmodz that's the ammo rolling back and forth in the magazine.

the ammo fits snug in the barrel. occasionally a ball may be a little off

spec. and move a bit in the rifled section of the barrel

  • @mpmrla soz

  • Nice design! :) How to video please!

  • @PIZZABAGARN1337 look at the build info video

  • @mpmrla oh yea, I saw it :) Thx anyways :D

  • please, plase please draw plans of this beauty, and list of items i need to build it! :)

  • @johnym89 look at the build info video

  • Have you tried to put a spring in the mag so it doesn't have to be feed by gravity?

  • @Digadogup read the description all the way to the end
