yeah, Malenko was awesome before he went to WWE. Glacier had to be a flop, they named him after freaking ice for cryin' out loud. Just like Mortis aka. Kanyon.

@jwhat20 Disagree, Glacier served his purpose and was one of the more memorable characters from WCW. The gimmick just died when the popularity of Mortal Kombat did. He may be the last guy to still wrestle TO THIS DAY with the same gimmick (minus, maybe, Mysterio)

disagree. mysterio wasn't a gimmick. the mask and colorful outfits are him, and in mexico, the mask and outfit style usually stay with a wrestler their whole career. macho man is a good comparison. macho only changed his look in the latter part of his wcw career. besides that, even nwo macho had the hat or bandana and colorful tights, and the gestures, and the interview style.

it's not his fault, it's not like fans didn't initially like glacier, it's just that wcw never involved glacier in the nwo storyline, so he was overlooked and didn't get much exposure against quality opposition. come on, he faced no one but jobbers, and wrath and mortis, then they moved him into tagging with that jackass ernest miller against mortis and wrath... no one could have succeeded in his place...
