i actually have a question about java...for somereason i clicked on nightmarerh's gay twitter link on accidient and now my comupter is running very slow like it has a virus i defragmented it nothings helping no anti virus is finding anything and it only seems to lag when its a "java" program like runescape or private servers...its like lag it does like 5 seconds of playing time then 10 seconds of it being frozen ect. anything i could try?

Idk if this will help my java or not but you seem to know a lot about it so perhaps you will know how to resolve my problem. Whenever I log onto private servers the game screen will load then when I try to log in java will expire and the icon dissapears. I used to be able to delete it and then redownload but even that no longer works. Even when I try to play regular runescape it will only let me play for a few minutes before it expires I don't understand why it keeps doing this. Would you know??

@Charfight try to right click the client, and were it says jdk1.0.6_17 or 18, or what ever .. put 20, or what ever one u got, or if that dont work, in my case i installed my jdk wrong and it saved on the java folder as jre6. i changed the jdk1.0.6 what ever to jre6 and it works :D

The "X's" are what version java you have.

And now, whenever i open up a runescape based server, including runescape, java opens, but it runs EXTREMTLLY slow...

Like, it goes for about 2 seconds, then stops loading, goes, ect.
