It's too bad Johnny didn't get the big break 30 years ago when Hearts of Stone came out. It was one of the best 20 albums that was ever produced. At that time he was in his prime and the Jukes were great with the horn section.
@1776freedom I agree. I saw SSJ and the Jukes at the Lawrence Opera House in the autumn of '79 in Lawrence Kansas. One of the five best shows I've ever seen. BTW, I've seen the Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Springsteen, the Allman Brothers (with Duane), and almost every other band you can name.

Johnny is an incredible singer...how on earth he is not huge is beyond me...His voice always gives me the chills....
