quick hand work is nice. Stances and stepping could be more rooted. I understand the lightness required for din bo jumping, but a football tackle or skilled sweep would plow over that tall and narrow arrow stance

I see different from you, the root is not static, it appears and dissapear, the stance is traditional not like modern wu shu long and big. You should try football tackle may not be as success as you think !

@niegung4yahwey Much of the "lightness" is a deliberate illusion of proper old world skill. You feel that man's power and it's a different story. I can only promise as someone who has trained with him: he's the real thing.
