How to Download Youtube Videos in HD on Mac (EASY)

hey everyone. i was trying to follow the steps exactly, and i was getting stuck on the step where you hold down option and double-click the biggest file.. i was about to give up, then i thought to try holding down 'control' instead.. just to see what would happen. it made the download work for me! try that.. see how it works out! :)

It worked perfectly until I dragged it onto my desktop from my finder. When I tried to open it on my desktop to watch the video, it pulled it up but with the application TextEdit. Do you know how to change it so it pulls up on quicktime?

@DarynHinton same here, just download a converter like prism to .mp4 or .mov and it should work.
