That is the most insane thing heard of to anyone knowing anything about wind and fluid dynamics. If you watch videos of houses being blown away by hurricanes, the first sign it is a house about to be lost to storm, a window or windows blow out, it is then open to all the force the winds can place on the inside walls and ceiling to push them out. I guess the companies that sell shutters aren't ttotal idiots. Who ever thought they were? I love MiythBusters, but hate that they are so needed. lol

This is true for tornadoes, where a huge pressure difference causes buildings to explode, but hurricanes, where wind and especially water are the driving forces? I doubt it.
