  • you know one of the resons y they where canceled cuz of batman bt u cnt really blem batman in those days nt alot of show staied on the air for very long

  • awsome film and terry thomas was sir hiss in robin hood

  • I love this movie but I miss Pat Priest as Marilyn. Debbie Watson... who?

  • Always like this show. Even though it took a back seat to the Adams family. They were both great!

  • "MUNSTER,GO HOME!" was something of an exceptional occurance. due to the

tremendous popularity of primetime TV in the 60s-and long before the Remakes,

studios capitalized,by doing feature movies-and since the popularity of THE MUNSTERS was pretty strong, although CBS cancelled it,,the movie was actualy

a good idea! NBC's success with the UNCLE series, led MGM to release a few

    as motion pictures(in response to BOND)and ABC's BATMAN,also led to a full

length movie in 66',as did THE FLINTSTONES!

  • Have a look at this trailer in youtube 1911 format it look very good.

  • dont like debbie watson :(

  • Really?...They couldn't at least have had a BLONDE play Marilyn if Pat Priest wasn't available?

  • Pat Priest wasn't "busy". Debbie Watson was a Universal contract player, and the executives wanted to push her by casting her. They told Pat Priest and she said she remembers crying when she found out, and Al Lewis (Grandpa) comforted her.

  • @kbirdusa - good to know, thanks.

I liked Ms. Priest as Marilyn. It's a rotten shame; Debbie Watson is gorgeous, yes, but she's not Marilyn.

  • Richard Dawson is in this too. ;)

  • This is the secret of Munster Hall !!!!

Call the Police.... Get the FBI..... Call Scotland Yard.... PHONE BATMAN!!!

    Car 54 WHERE ARE YOU!!

Wonderful - Marvalous ..... and lots of FUN!

  • Yvonne DeCarlo in great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible Life: Revised Edition) at amazon!

  • The Marilyn Munster in this movie was an alumni of my high school years before me. I saw this when I was a kid. Good movie! :)

  • I remember walking to the theatre with my sister to see this movie.I was seven years old.Fred Gwynne was a brilliant actor.

  • it kinda sucked that they didnt use Pat Priest as Marilyn.that was a raw deal .

  • I understand where you're coming from. I read somewhere that Pat Priest was busy with something else at the time.

Of course, I always thought Beverly Owen was the "sexier" Marilyn.

  • I have seen all the Munster showing on TVland and this film but I never herd of After being canceled on TV in 1966, The Munsters go to England. Was it ever made? Keep in mind I was not alive at the time LOL

  • THE MUNSTERS GO HOME was the movie they did after the show was cancelled in 1966-67? and in the film they go back to england when Herman inherits money after his uncle passes away.its been a while since i saw this so i will have to go and pull it out.its available on dvd and also on ebay

  • Yah that is the one I am talking about. And there is all that fake cash in the basment

  • munster go home is great. i was well familiar with the tv show before seeing the movie, and it was nice to see the characters in color. nonetheless, if i ever watch it again, i'll probably set the tv to black-and-white so it'll have the traditional look of the tv series. i guess i'm attached to the traditional look because i grew up watching the show so much.

  • I love the "Car 54, Where Are You?" joke - nice adlib.

  • And Fred Gwynne wanted to be remembered for his work on the stage...

  • If they did get Car 54.... they, themselves would have to show up! Right Grampa!

  • go munsters

  • Love that theme song rift.... cool.... narly and down right groovie!
