From halo: ce,halo 2 and halo 3 the halo 2 was the best IMO it had challengin AI and was difficult on legendary, next best is the halo: ce, but halo 3 just felt like they wanted to get over it already, and it just wasnt so epic as the two earlier halos.

If you think about it, halo 3 is really close to halo 1. for instance, the endings are almost identical, most of the same music, only redone, and the cartographer level in halo 1 is the same as that desert level in halo 3 only that halo 3 level was much better.i sound Like a total nerd right now don't I?

@stuntmaster39 That was a major change not an upgrade. When I say upgrade I mean like in Halo 2 you could hi-jacks vehicles, dual wield, play online matchmaking, etc. You couldn't do those things in Halo 1 but you could in Halo 2, thats an upgrade.

@Marc1k No. Halo 2 was Halo 1 Improved, Halo 3 was a major Upgrade. Halo 2 used Engine Updates from Halo 1 and even used many of the same models from halo 1. Halo 3 had all new models and textures and it's own High Definition Engine with theater and Forge which would be impossible in halo 2's engine.

I disagree. I think Halo 2 was aspiring way to much toward pop culture. Master Chief used the word "dude" in the 26th century! Halo 2 was basically only: Go to Earth, shoot aliens, go to ANOTHER Halo, blow it up again. I think Halo: Combat Evolved had the best storyline and Halo 2 had the worse... Of course, this is all just opinion. Halo 2 may have been the most influencial... I don't know. I suppose I just really didn't like that game. Storyline-wise, mostly.

You would appreciate Halo 2 more if you played through the entire trilogy, and then went back and played through Halo 2 again. It has the most in depth story of the three. Like most other people, I'll go ahead and assume that you didn't like it because it asked far more questions than it answered. Play through it again, it's a fantastic story. Personally I think they all were great I mean H1 was the original and I noticed it had more wide open spaces than the other 2. H2 was the dawn of new graphics and multiplayer, plus playable as the Arbiter(sp) part, and co op(I have H1 for the PC so I don't no if there is co op 4 the Xbox) & the BR!! H3 was even better graphics and multiplayer, plus it wrapped up the trilogy and it had both BR and AR. So they all have really good qualities but I think H2 is the best, hardest legendary mode 2.

Have any of you fans heard of I love bees? At the end of the trailer, where it shows the xbox logo, look at the xbox website below, theres a quick flash of the website. But that was ages ago, it was the IVB phenomenon, everyone went to the website, it was pretty freaky! Someone counted down to the launch of Halo 2 on that website, I'm not quite sure what happened, but they had permission from Bungie to do it. AWESOME trailer! H3 is better, but it was fantastic for its time. We'll never forget!
