How are you going to tell someone that believed in a higher power that they're damned for eternity? The Bible IS a Holy Book. It is a medium of Worship. But I don't think it's the only one. I think that the #1 reason for people being turned away from religions is lack of understanding, both from the person being told and the person telling about it. I love Destorm, but this video does have many things that could offend some people just because of lack of understanding.

I'm not trolling just stating my opinion as well. The way I was raised.... we are born sinners, Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior he is the only way to Heaven (yes I am Christian). Once you are saved all your sins past, present and future are forgiven, however that does not mean you can just live life not caring what you do. I was taught to love my neighbor as myself, it is hard but I still try. I'm not going to shoot your religion down because it is YOUR faith. And there is no way out of Hell.
I could understand that God is an omnipresent being, so Heaven and Hell would be shielded from living eyes, but how could anything be so powerful that it can alter reality at a whim? Where could such a being even come from? Is there a creator of God and how would his creator come to be? If God created us in his image, I would imaging it's more than physical characteristics, so how could he damn us for behaving based upon feelings that we all share?

Also, nobody is perfect so, how many people would even be allowed into heaven if God sends so many people to hell. How can such a loving person eternally damn those that he creates to a place of everlasting pain and agony and still say he loves them? I haven't read the bible, so I don't know, but once you're in Hell, is there a way out? Is even God's forgiveness enough to bring you out of Hell and cast you into everlasting bliss, or would he leave you to rot because of momentary mistakes?

You bring up an interesting point about the universe and other planets. If there is life out there I am sure that they have some form of spirituality and that it wouldnt differ much from ours. Nuclear decay has been shown to have occurred at grossly accelerated rates when molten rocks were forming, crystallizing and cooling, the radiometric methods cannot possibly date these rocks accurately based on the false assumption of constant decay through earth history at today’s slow rates. Thus the radiometric dating methods are highly unreliable and don’t prove the earth is old.

it's VERY simple. "heaven" is supposed to make you feel good, "hell" is supposed to make you feel bad. but if you think about it, all those feelings and really erverything we experience, only happens in our phisical BRAINS. and if we die, our brains will just be turned off and turn into mud or whatever. so there is no hell no heaven and no nothing. when we die, we're at the same point were we were before we were born. and we can't explain that certain point, so we make someting up that suits us.

How are you going to tell someone that believed in a higher power that they're damned for eternity? The Bible IS a Holy Book. It is a medium of Worship. But I don't think it's the only one. I could understand that God is an omnipresent being, so Heaven and Hell would be shielded from living eyes, but how could anything be so powerful that it can alter reality at a whim? Where could such a being even come from? Is there a creator of God and how would his creator come to be? How can such a loving person eternally damn those that he creates to a place of everlasting pain and agony and still say he loves them? I haven't read the bible, so I don't know, but once you're in Hell, is there a way out? I personally don't believe that there is any god. Evolution makes perfect sense to me. In one of her books called Anatomy of the Spirit she explains some commonalities between some religions. Specifically Jesus and Buddha. Of course there are many teachers and sages through the years that teach common messages. Destorm, lots of good points in there and as an Atheist I truly agree with a lot of what you were saying. Philosophically we are on the same page, just be sure to check facts before posting intellectual vids like this or it could (unfortunately) negate the positive influence you are trying to make. I am referring to the comments about telescopes not seeing past Mars etc. But really you are a talented dude, keep it up.

My religion is muslim, and i am told to respect everyone no matter what they believe in. You can do bad things and good things but judging people is not good and saying that someone is going to hell is probably a very huge sin.

The word of God is written on your heart. If you choose to suppress that, then it's cool and I'm not going to argue that. Which is why I watched this when it is clearly anti-christian/religion. No worries. It was like watching me asking the same things a couple yrs ago, except I am white.I will say this I was raised believing there is no God and thought that until about 1.5 years ago, I woke up. I didn't study and learn this or that then after years of study came to a realization of A or B.

The same way I choose to believe in unicorns and weird dreams, I choose to believe in God. My own God. So, this video is as true for me as it gets. And maybe, one day, if my views change (which I'm sure they will), It won't matter to anyone but me.

well im 14 and i think heaven is beyond space and subspace thats why God destroyed the tower of babble.Its unknown if there were other life forms before man becase the bible is the recording of after the creation of heaven and earth.So the question is what was before and how did God get there.there is an answer o everything but the bible says we cant comprehend the answer to those very questions.so yah :3

Its funny how he was talking about the universe. its cool. What some people dont even know is that stars are BIG just like our sun. They look small kuz they're far away. Most stars have planets spinning around them, just like we're spinning around our star. And all these smart people are finding out that many of these other planets looks a lot like earth. hmm.

Oh! and if there IS a god (which I believe), and he REALLY loves us, he can't send nonbelievers (or believers of other gods) who lived a honest life just cause they chose the wrong beliefs! We're just humans, we're all equally ignorant in this matter. The God I believe in can understand this fact...I'd rather believe in nothing if a perfect being can't even get that...

I mean I believe there's something beyond us (like a god) but I'd rather not give a name to this god. Though I'm aware that there might be nothing more. And I respect all religions but I still believe that religions are manmade and so are all the sacred books. Which is why I have no religion (though I do pray every night).
As crazy as it sounds, I believe the real truth is hidden in fragments of each belief...Hard to explain but I don't think ONE religion is THE truth

it was never a religion but a relation ship with christ, thats all christianity is and should be. Religion cannot save. You cant just say "ohh im catholic so im going to heaven" also Some random lady cant just condemn you to hell. so i agree with you that was very stupid of her to say cause only god can judge us.
