I appreciate everyone who is trying to clean up our beautiful county. What i despise is the labeling of homeless as people who live in filth and like it that way. The crew actually bags up personal belongings and dumps them. That's not fair. Neither is it constitutional. The homeless population needs housing. There is not enough affordable housing here and no plans to correct this inequality. People MUST camp to keep out of the rain but camping is illegal. A Tent Is Affordable Housing!
@casienwhey Hey....why not a legal $50. a week campground that is well run? Why lock up people and spend all that money when instead the homeless could pay into a campground?
wow!!!I cant even begin to say all that I feel.I am a pack it in pack it out person and have always packed out more than I packed in.Just pick it up and throw it away!Litter will always be a part of our world and sometimes a piece can get away but that where we as a people have to step up and take care of our planet and pick it up but there is no excuse for what youve showed us,homeless or not ...
this is awesome. i work for a river clean up crew also. in ohio. we have to pull at large log james with a timberjack and all debris. i think its alot of fun doing this.
Driving along the Eel on 101 you don't see it but when you take a side road near the river it's sad to see these encampments and litter.Thank you.Your efforts are recognized by us tourist who visit your stretch of nirvana.
I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to check out the video. It helps us understand a little better of what is really going on un noticed in the world. This is one small thing.
I recently heard that the Eel River is the cleanest river in California.
Over a ton of ADULT Diapers!!! Seriously, that almost made me gag.
I don't live anywhere near where you are, but I'd like to say that I appreciate what you are doing. If I didn't live paycheck to paycheck I'd help out. What you are doing is worthy.

the homeless should be forced to live in institutions like they used to and these problems would cease.

Kristie, Brandon, John, and Mac are amazing for doing what they do. The community should reward them for what they do.
