Even though Atif doesn't know how to sing, he has been gifted by god with the ability to do Abstraction in Music, without even learning real music. Vincent Van Gogh never learnt realism and anatomy still he did paint with all his emotions and depth. I like Atif's singing, but i have to admit that quite a lot of time he can't carry a tune. But the fact is, 80% of people in this world cant sing in a tune and i think thats what endears Atif to people. His voice his very soulful and an ordinary person can sing along with him and enjoy his songs.

we are more than happy to have singers from all over the world to sing in our movies, but you people dont want to do so, and simply cant digest the fact that aapke ek nahi, par kai bando ko india mein kaam mil raha hai, aur woh india ki public ki vajeh se upaar aaya hai. not saying they all are bad. infact rahat fateh ali khan and adnan sami, ppl like those are on my top favorite list. i watch then live so much. even ghulam ali. and that is why i am giving you my non biased opinion.

first of all music is not a waste of time...dont think you are too smart. i am not saying that abhijeet had the right attitude, he certainly had the wrong attitude, but you cant deny the fact that he is a better singer than atif. he is a much better singer than atif. the problem here is that who are you to decide who runs bollywood, or indian film industry? NO ONE. the truth is we indians run the film industry, we decide who works and who doesn't.

Either Abhijeet is very bias person against pakistani singer and can't tolerate the fact someone from Pak is taking over his industry or that Abhijeet is very old singer with a lot of experience and wants people to do well that is why he is so strict, the statement he said "meray dil main jo hain wo charay pay ata hain" just proves his truthfulness altho definately not a person to get along with but I think he maybe trying hard to improve people but dont know how to.

what do ppl have to do by understanding the technicalities and maturity of a singer.... the song which clicks your mind which you love to sing when you're alone .....you play when you're with friends.... and honestly this we found in Aatif......whereas abhijeet has same old ghissi pitti voice which is good if you listen it as lori....

I like Atif's singing, but i have to admit that quite a lot of time he can't carry a tune. But the fact is, 80% of people in this world cant sing in a tune and i think thats what endears Atif to people. His voice his very soulful and an ordinary person can sing along with him and enjoy his songs.
He might not be technically sound, but technique is not the most important thing.

Abhijeet is 99% right about Atif Aslim.( no Atif do not Auto-Tune his vocal)
But still, Atif Aslam is very amateur singer... just having good wordings, catchy melody... it doesn't prove that Atif Aslam can sing! He hardly have 4 notes and less then an Octave.
Atif's all songs, every single song starts from G-F note.(WTF Atif, pls do change your Peacock tones in just one song)
There are only 3 things i understand about Atif Aslam
1. He might be a good thief.
2. He is lucky.
3. He is not a singer.
