  • Man, these brothers are the revolutionary sages of Hip-Hop. Dead Prez are as Real as what they spit, it's called uncompromising truth. I ride this life the same way - have been since I was a young brother. The system is man-made, so it's already exploitation. We gotta unshackle our brains, stay healthy: Stick Dead Prezon your dome, you've just increased your IQ by 70%. This joint covers it all for me...it's criminally minded not to dig it. And if you can't dig it, get a fucking shovel.

  • They Are like the Jcoles before this

  • dis ain't lil wack or guchie mann soulja bitch my niggas. revolution fighter freedom fighter. shit dat make ur soul burn slow. dis ain't about fancy car diamond chain. it's about makin a change for the black peoples. wake the fuck up mainstream rapper

  • @TheAyibobo Dude learn to wright and spell. Revolution!

  • Dude, i hate fkn sony.

  • This song is racist bullshit.

The KKK loves this shit as it just fills their ranks.

  • @InfiniteArguments Hows it fill their ranks?

  • @InfiniteArguments if you knew dead prez you would know they are not racist.there are two class of people in this world.rich and poor.dead prez spits for poor people hommie not black people.

  • @pathic1 This. Look in the crowd theres a white girl right there :S

  • okay 1st off im a whiteboy, fuck hidin behind this screen-name.....and 2nd off I wanna say...fuck whats on the radio.....

  • whats the 2 song?

  • I'm sorry but these guys rapping about this now that they are moderately wealthy is hypocritical in my opinion.

  • @landgabriel Its not hypocritical. It's just ironic. It'd be hypocritical if they were always rich. But they didn't make the rules.

What's also ironic is that to raise awareness about flaws in the system you first got to conquer it, that is, capitalize along the way. That's why the lyrics in 'Don't forget where you came from' 'Sitting around ain't gonna get you nowhere, you gotta get up off your ass if you want to be rich'

    Until then, pimp the system.

  • @DRocco85 The very nature of capital is to capitalize on the backs of other people. Dead Prez sold records made in Sony's factories by exploited workers and profited off of it. In my opinion they now have zero street cred, and everything they say is tainted. Don;t get me wrong, I love their music. I just don't think they practice what they preach. They are now part of the machine.

And maybe the aspect of this that bothers me, is that I also want to be a part of the machine.

  • @landgabriel Thats why i respect underground rap groups who have turned down major labels because they actually practice all the stuff they sayin

  • @PsycotiCMomentuM I feel the same. It takes will power to turn down a contract and money to live the life of an artist.

  • @landgabriel i doubt there wealthy, plus they still should be the voice for the unspoken

  • @wwrjd1523 I know they gotta get a good amount for opening every chapelle show episode, but they're one of the very few that I'd bet gives it all back to the communities like these stars should

  • @wwrjd1523 They are certainly not wealthy.

  • Check out the interview given from Dead Prez prior to their GIG in London yesturday!

  • not rap but poetry

  • fuck the nwo !

  • Dead Prez + Immortal Tech, who else has that much substance? who else is really worthy of being called REAL? 95% of the hip hop artists today are a disgrace.

  • M-1 got a sick Che hat. hopefully he made it himself tho

  • I wonder if M1 or Stic-man ever studied economics?

It might be real hip-hop, but it is illogical.

    I still like it though

  • Real Hip Hop

  • Oh Hell Yeah

  • HELL YEAH!!!!

  • its called W-4 off the revolutionary but gangster album.

  • thanks pal

    Peace

  • any body wats this track at the end of this show called???! ive been working all my life, but aint got nuthin to show...

  • @CushiticSomalianMale its called w-4 or w4

  • i wish i was there damn real shit

  • Viva La Revolucion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • For the real check John Doe' DEATH TO HIP HOP.

  • Dead Prez is the shit

    and so is Immortal Technique

  • @dayvid209 wooooooooooord!!!!!

  • This is the real rap music. Not like LIL wayne and his stupid and degrading messages he sends to peoples minds.Dead prez tells you whats up.And they can change there raps in to poems that what a good rap is thats why DEAD PREZ IS THE SHIT!

  • @sheff2030

For sure, though I read they write peotry and turn it into songs, kind of like Bob Dylan did. It's always good to see that people who actually rap about what matters are smart enough to realize how powerful poetry is, and not shun it off as som "homo shit", because frankly I have only heard poor artists say that. respects.

  • u keep cheapchatting about black, brown and yellow to unite.

And, as I figure, DP is a marxist-socialist group.

How can u keep it racial, when scientific socialism clains it to be economic?

I mean, there's none white poor person around? South America got plenty, but the racial speech keeps growing.

    Exercise your minds a little...

  • I think you americans don't know nothing about poverty.

Do you know what is going on in Rusiia or the eastern countries like Ukraine: poor poor white folks who speaks for them? They just don't kill each other like the blacks in the US that's the only difference

  • it has begun

  • Damn Dead Prez, what happen?

    What a disappointment. :(

  • YEP love it!

  • How many Rappers now a days can just "Talk" there rhyms?

Can SOulja boy just Recite his shit with out rapping?

and have people feel it poeticaly?

pfft no one wants to here

"Ya Trick Ya" 300 times str8

  • Damn, good point

  • dead prez cant do this shit alone though, they speak of helpin out black people, but its our job as black people to unite together instead of killing eachother for petty shit, noonther race reall acts like that like we do. theyll help eachother out and have pride in what they are, while we argue over colors or jus petty shit in general,

    black people unite

    shit everybody unit

    RBG's

  • These guys are true activists, and apparently really chill guys to get to know. My friend goes to Evergreen and they came and hung out smoked a ton of weed, talked to a 80% white crowd about the Black Panthers, got wasted as fuck and freestyled till everyone passed out. Now that's some proper shit

  • sounds tight!

  • thats tight. i hate how people think dead prez hates white people, they dont, they like everybody, they jus hate the government and its system.

    RBG

  • yeahhhh u right!!!

  • why won't they go platinum.thats what my video is about.tiz about where we come from, what we expirience...believe me.the world is a bunch of cowards in prison allready, coz if we were not.why would we lways talk shit about the smallest things, instead of standing up for justice.fuc the system....i'm dying the day deadprez goes!pac already gone!shhhhit africa we all gon unite&itz gon be ova for the racists and colonists and bitches!

  • 好, I like dat!

  • HipHop: Poetry with background music.

They have such a powerful message and yet these people sit there quiet...WTF!

  • jezus, the crowd was crap

  • I'm white as fucking snow, and sometimes I can't help but get the feeling these guys would look at me like I was mental if I showed up at one of their shows, but god damn if I can't get down to this shit.

  • Your mistaken. They are not racist. Black power don't mean that black people are better then others. It means being proud of who they are and where you come from. Black power to black people. Brown Power to brown people, White power to white people. Etc all power to the people! Get hip to it.

  • I hope you get brutally sodomized and mugged outside one of their shows.

  • Huh. This comment is so wrong. Your a slave destroyer...you need to be a hate destroyer, it would get you further. :) and im a sista, so don't come at me sideways!!!

  • lmaoffff at u. They perform in sweden, I think their cool with whit folks as long as you cool with them. now bounce to this white boy ;)

  • haha i hear ya man. and man this video was awesome

  • I like "Hell Yea" better live than on the track i think.

  • DP's one of the realest

  • i think they were tryin t flow it slower more ike poetry so the audiance could hear everyword?

  • Bahamadia rhymes slow, and has rhythm i can understand her.

  • that's why they flipped it on Def Poetry

  • ahhahah bitchass
