  • circusboy90201 obviously works for a circus and is full of empty arguments with out a shred of evidence to show these animals weren't abused while training took place. There are truly evil reason why the public cannot see circus animal quarters 'behind the curtain', but I have. The circus is a dying thing and videos like the one with Tim Frisco abusing animals will help end this ignorant and poor excuse for entertainment.

  • Who is this circusboy90210 loser? Is he generally saying that no one on here has witnessed elephant abuse first hand? He obviously has the IQ of a box of rocks. Anyone here can go to YouTube & watch video footage of elephants being tortured until they lose their bladder & bowels. Type in "Tim Francisco" in the YouTube search box...that bastard was the ringleader of elephant abuse. I'd like to use a little "positive reinforcement" on our buddy, "circusboy!" And I'll bet that handle fits him well!

  • It's an absolute atrocity...an abomination that this is allowed. And let me assure you, zoos are no better. You just watched a few minutes in the life of an animal...look up the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, click on the 'Our Elephants" link at the top of the main page, scroll down and choose the story about "Sissy." You won't believe what you read..and there is plenty of written documentation to prove it all!

  • I understand what you saying but you would never see a wild animal, in the wild kicking a ball? For them tricks they have to be taught and taught through the animal been beaten.

  • all animal exploitation is an abomination.they are not ours wear, eat, experiment on or entertain us stupid ignorant humans.

  • Poor poor animals. How can parents bring their children to watch this stupidity and cruelty to animals?

  • @circusboy90210

Circuses portray a distorted view of wildlife.Laws protecting animals in traveling shows are inadequate and poorly enforced. The Animal Welfare Act establishes only minimum guidelines and even these meager standards are often ignored.

Most elephants used by circuses were captured in the wild. Once removed from their families and natural habitat, their lives consist of little more than chains and intimidation.

  • Any way in the 21st century 'elephants and balloons' should not be used in the same sentence its sick!

  • man's interaction with exotics is part of nature too ... we are not space aliens or microbes from a foreign petri dish. this is part of natures plan or the animals would not allow us to capture them??? however these are still basically wild animals and must be constanly handled as such if you don't like what you think is cruel then don't go but ultimatly most shows have very little bad things happen.

  • To everyone who thinks animal circuses are fun do you realise that elephant could well get a whack around the head with an epephant hook after the show eventhough it did well.

  • @littlesercet wrong again were you there ??? I have been. it does not work like that.

  • @circusboy90210 Okay i have not been there but have u taken alot at the elephant after it has performed were does it go etc? What happens to it, i seriously doubt it.

  • @littlesercet actually yes I have. I know virtually every aspect of circus operations, inside and out, and up to the very top of the power structure. Even met many different circus owners in person many times and even had dinner with them. I have more knowledge in my little toe than you could fill many building with validly. really go back to school and leave life to the adults.

  • @circusboy90210 Its all good you doing that shit, having dinner, idk why .... So you agree with them abusing animals to make them peform tricks then?

  • @littlesercet animals are not abused or forced, natural traits of animals are taken advantage of and the exploited. the circus owner is not the one necesarily training the animals or even owner of them. really your building a house of cards that will not stand up to any real inspection . I have a biodiesel experiment to deal with now go read a few thousand books and come back enlightened. you really need it sir.

  • @circusboy90210 Haha!! Are you honestly telling me that animals are not abused in circuses!? You cant defend people. The thing is the only way you can get a wild animal to do the tricks you want them to do is through pain not through taking natural traits etc Natural traits next time i see an elehant in the wild kicking a ball or standing on its hind legs i will take a photo and send it to you. The only way animals will do tricks is by pain dispite what you say

  • @littlesercet natural traits like what it does while it's around you. we are part of nature too. your twisting words and concepts to suit your needs. and despite what you say you obviously have no concept of positive reinforcement. really I bet you have read word 0 out of book 1 on animal husbandry. really??? yes most animals in circus' are not treated harshly. you are taking relativly few incidinces over 40 years to show something that's just not happening.

  • @circusboy90210 I do animal management, and am getting high grades I do know what i mean. And dispite what you say theres no way positive reinforcement alone will get what you want from the animal.

  • @littlesercet actually yes positive reinforcement alone does work. again your out of your league. your still in school I've been out in the real world since i was 16 traveling all over the usa and canada. I've seen one of the worlds greatese animal trainers in true form and positive reinforcement does work. to think otherwise is to be inexperienced. your grammar seems to indicate your lack of believability. how old are you 14?.

  • @circusboy90210 Actually am older then 14. What am sayig is i have seen prove video footage of how circuses train there animals.

  • @littlesercet not everything you see in videos apply's to all circus' or all animal trainers. and the videos you see are across the span of over 30 years this is not a constant. thing . so you see you truly cannot believe everything you see or read. people have agendas to push and cherry pick their facts to suit their own needs. especially wacko's with ulterior motives like communism. the core of these ideas is to do away with private property, democracy, and personal sovereignty.

  • @circusboy90210 Baby elephants born in breeding farms are torn from their mothers, tied with ropes, and kept in isolation until they learn to fear their trainers.

Animals used in circuses live a dismal life of domination, confinement, and violent training. It is standard practice to beat, shock, and whip them to make them perform ridiculous tricks that they cannot comprehend.

  • @zardoxer alll of this is in your opinion. positive reinforcement is used in majority of cases. please stop making conjecture on subjects you have no direct knowledge in. your statments are purely speculation. you have never actually spent any time around circuses and have no real way of knowing anything. please stop spreading lies . man is at the top of the animal kingdom whatever we do is natural. don't give me this in the wild bs. if we caputre and start to breed in captivity this is natur

  • Instead of all this bickering why don't you people write to your representatives in DC or to the USDA and let them hear your voices

  • animal cruelty :-(

    poor elepant xx

  • oh stop moaning about animals being abused in circus its okay to voice ur opinion but is any of u going to actuatly DO anything to stop it, no ur just goner find every vid showing an animal being abused and bitch, moan about it, cos u all get a kick out of watching this stuff and complaing about it. go ahead contradict me tell me i'm wrong, if u reply back bitching moaning to me, you've only proved my point. peace out, just watch happy vids in future.

  • @Shygirl252 actually, you're the one moaning. oh and for the record, we are doing something, we're not going to the circus, going to the circus means supporting it and not going means that u have something better to do then watch animals being abused for entertainment.

  • look i dnt like argueing but i will say this for the record, i have never been to a circus and probably never will having watched this video, so i could say i'm doing the exact same thing. i dnt want to fall out with u or anyone but why watch these kinder vids to see these animals in pain over, over and over again. it doesnt make sense. sad conclusion is that no matter how much people protest there will always be circus's. theyv'e lasted this long.this box way too small for big me, so bye

  • i hope we can all work together put end to animal cruelty and slaughter, hip hip hurry! keep up gud work, all of u out there, didnt been to offend. peace out. xx

  • @Shygirl252 Oh.!!! let's just ignore it and pretend like it's not happening and it's not real...what a loser you are....are you that responsible in your own personal life??

  • that was so boring. how was that fun? or even funny? i would reather see them in the wild. being free.

  • BANNNN all animal circus, alll animal circuses abuses animals, every fucking dam one of them, having them animals put in crates and they can bearly fucking move, sit them free so they can kill all the trainers

  • Poor elephant, it isn't natural for an elephant to kick a ball around, it isn't right.

  • whats funny about this ? just free those animals

  • Suck it up if its enjoyable than its fine and ps THEY DON'T USE BRUTAL FORCE THAT IN CHINA WERE IN THE US!!!! K? THIS DISCRIPTION SAYS THAT ITS FOR US KIDS

  • In all parts of the world Someone somewere INCLUDING the US mistreats animals!

  • well let me tel u sometin ya its true dat some people do mistreat animals but dat DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERY CIRCUS DOES DAT

  • Yer but the circuses with animals DO how do you explain how the train them ? Yeah sure that elephant might seem to like it but there is an elephant hook there and also its probaly gone thou this so many times of going into the ring and being beaten if done something wrong ita frightened not to so does what is told to do and thts also not normal for an elephant to be doing tht!

  • what ever im done talking to you yor pissin be off!!!!

  • This is not cruel, you can see this trainer is not intimidating the animal for it to perform. The elephant is having fun!

  • When I went to Petersburg Circus there were tigers (in october 2008.The clowns/trainers had electric cattle prods and were shocking the tigers throughout their show. Nearly all the English people their thought that it was inhumane and cruel.

  • This is awful.

  • how bad do you have to beat an elephant to train it to do that???

  • [SARCASIM] Not to badly, they actually like being chained in one spot and zapped with electric prods. [/SARCASIM]

  • poooooooooor elefant :( its a fucking free animal!!

  • The truth is that an animal must be in extreme fear of recieving a beating in order to perform correctly and do they un-natural things they are forced to do in the circus through beatings.

  • i miss russian circus

  • the abuse ,hit, and torture them into submission....hate cicuses and zoo's

  • Go to "Elephant training in the circus"

to see how this animal was trained.

  • yea, im never takin my kids to the circus

  • Very disturbing to see an endangered Asian elephant forced to perform tricks for stupid people who want to watch. The trainer had a bullhook in his hand. The bullhook is used to make the elephant perform. The elephant knows he will get hit all over his body and gouged in the ears if he does not perform! Disgusting circus. Too bad the elephant doesn't get the chance to kick the trainer by the head out onto the crowd.

Help the endangered Asian elephants, boycott circuses with animals.

  • @cre440now Agree completely!

  • @cre440now wrong errroneous, liar even. you don't know the first thing about what happens if this beast does not perform. you proabably don't even know it's name or the people around it. quit making conjecture on things you would not even have the first idea of reality about. impossible to have circus without animals anyhow. it's in the history.

  • @circusboy90210 Actually its not impossible to have a circus without animals, a lot more people would rather see people doing stunts then animals forced to perform tricks

  • @littlesercet actually yes it is. read into the history of circus mr. know nothing. the animals are not forced to do anything they most animals actually are happy to serve their masters. however you don't have the mechanisms to determine what people really like or you would be a marketing or demographics expert . I am and can tell you that you are way off base sir. your biase is showing when you say forced instead of just merely mentioning animals. you do nothing to help your cause when u do so.

  • @circusboy90210 wow you arent' even capable of defending your illegal and illigitmate acts with proper forms of arguement. leave your bias at the door and only discuss facts it will get you further in the long run. lies always come out in the end and create a backlash against your cause as is happening right now. people are attending ringling in record numbers. I know people all over that orginization you don't. also many other shows. so sit down stfu and read a few dozen books.

  • @circusboy90210 Yeh i know circuses with animals go back along way . How can you say animals arent forced to perform tricks you cant beat it with your strength yet you can throuhg pain, you see alot of elephants standing on there back legs in ciruses , now i dont know about you but i have never seen an elephant in the wild stand up on its back legs. How do you get an elephant to do that hmmm .. let me think; whips and elephant hooks come to mind.

  • sad...

  • This SUCKS!!! These circuses make millions of dollars while these elephants are abused and treated with no dignity. THEY DESERVE DIGNITY. STOP CIRCUSES AND ZOOS AND SEND ALL THE ELEPHANTS IN CAPTIVITY TO SANCTUARIES!!

  • Yes it does suck. See the really sad part is that man kind has to tame an animal with brutal force. Not love. And they have to put fear into the animals inorder to do it. There is this one video that I saw that was from Asia and the man taught an elephant to put a hat on his head, EVERYTHING that an Elephant can do without causing damage to the body. These acts ruin their body. Therefore giving them less time to live. Elephants are my favorite animal and I'm sad to see them like this.
