Hahahahahahaha. This is why I don't own horses any more, I got tired of dealing with ignorant people who make dangerous decisions that not only endanger themselves and their animals but every animal and person they come in contact with.
This is so familiar, sounds like the barn owner where I USED to board my horses. She would bring in sick animals all the time exposing every horse in the place to whatever, and never once admitted her animals were sick.
@ravenwingone same here. it was ages ago though. She used to bring in cheap, sick and unbroken ponies in, take 2 months braking them in (not very well, thogh) and call them child friendly and then made them work all day. sum1 found this out and she was banned from owning horses and from owning the barn. she deserved it.
@StitchedCorneas 'Laying' is a transient verb that requires a direct object, as in 'laying down the law', 'laying eggs' or 'laying floor tiles'. The confusion for many, with this so often misused verb, arises from the past tense of 'to lie' being 'lay', as in 'Yesterday I lay on the couch'. If you are reclined,in the present tense, you are 'lying', not 'laying' down. Different of course from 'getting laid'. Don't trust me? Look it up. I'm 100% correct. :)
