funny, that sounds awfully like your simply ASSERTING what you want to believe, instead of pointing to evidence which corroborates what they say.....

or did you want to correct your spelling??? the plural of the word ninja, like moose, is NINJA.
but we should just take your word for it, in spite of the multitude of historical evidence that says ninjutsu wasn't and didn't include, martial arts??
interesting.... i thought ninjas were supposed to be able, stealthy assassins, guess not loud music and flashy moves that can be noticed a mile away. damn my preconceived notions of ninjas

odd thing about the assassin story... not alot of support for it.. i mean granted it probably happened, but most of the assassinations you will hear referenced werent done by ninja.
@Creationsofmyown ninjutsu is not a sport and is not something to be used for personal gain.the art ensures safety in our society even in modern times.morons like Creation who have no clue about what the art is mock it. what is the matter? you cant fight your own battles so you get your brother to help you.your a sorry excuse for a human being

These guys are a bunch of pansies jumping around with big sticks!! I would slaughter every one of them with my Wado ryu 2 inch punch. Bastards!! cool soundtrack though!
Well, the difference is probably that most modern ninja train with firearms as well. Kind of hard to punch a guy who pulled out a handgun and is able to "jump around", y`know?
Someone who trains Ninjitsu I presume... All of whom I've ever met vehemently claim they study an ancient art full of heritage, even though there is next to no academic agreement to this.
'Ninja' as most people in the West and who study 'ninjitsu' presume them to be is an almost entirely fictitious concept.
However, as demonstrations go, this is pretty good. They have skills for sure. Lots of control and it sure entertained me :)
gone are the days of feudal warfare where everything had to remain a secret, not sure if you noticed kittyjones93 i know you are always locked in constant battle, but for the common man like myself and others its perfectly fine to give a demonstration of skill for the pleasure of a viewing audience.
@kittyjones9 who can use true ninjautsu???? I think nobody now, because in the video this is only bad Tai jutsu nothing more!!! I would be happy in my life if i could be the jutsus of NARUTO from the anime NARUTO!!! I haved never a Girlfriend but i think a Girlfriend cant be make happy me, but if i could be the Kage Bunshin no jutsu i was be happy!!!
hmmm ... weird ... the stances and movements are all off but all those sword techniques are from aikido .... maybe they just did what everyone elses doing ... passing off a cooler looking martial art to be a not so impressive on the eyes one haha
don't think i ever once remembered taijutsu (thats the physical side of ninjutsu ppl) to be impressive at all ... just down to the point fuck ur opponent up kinda stuff
... Aiko's sword moves come from Iaido. Iaido was Samurai. Samurai fought Ninja. Ninja steals some of samurai's moves. Duh. This only applys to the daito katana though. Ninja had mand unique weapons, like the kusari-gama, a sickle on a huge chain that could slice up opponents form several yards away. Bad Ass.
And the most deadly poison to a samurai... rust. Ninja blades were rusty, and often gave samurai infections such as tetanus (this was before they had shots.) Know ur stuff man.
what i was saying is that alot of people pass off one martial art as another nowadays in movies and exibitions because they just look more impressive ... nowadays noone cares much for anything that doesn't involve twirling and backflips haha ^^ wushu can pass off as anything
and yeah ur stuff is all awesome and correct but don't accuse me of not knowing my stuff when what you were saying wasn't the point i was trying to make ... we're talking about 2 different things ..
Ninja didn't fought samurai. Ninjas were the "Elite" of the samurai, specialized in infiltration tecniques in order to do the hardest operations. Some of best Samurais were Ninjas in secret, having 2 lifes... I say that because I'm from Genbukan school.
that isnt what i meant. i meant that ninja, as counter-cultural opposite of the samurai, didnt have access to all of the things samurai did, and ther job required them to fight samurai often. Even though they didnt train in the same styles, because many ninja were ex-samurai, the ninja stole many samurai techniques. it didnt work vise-versa because ninja didnt become samurai.
Samurai wasn't the opposite. Ninja were an Special Assault Command. And they didn't steal their techniques. Samurai knew JuJutsu and Ninja knew Ninpo. While Jujutsu has a high guard and don't have distance, and they paralize the enemy with luxation tecniques, Ninpo has a very low guard, gaining distance and stability on the legs, and has more destructive tecniques. Ninja didn't inmovilize the enemy, only destroyed him with powerful hits on the eyes, Kinteki (eggs man) or the articulations
@bethreze... Bushido (samurai code) did not allow ninjutsu tactics as they considered them dishonourable, a daimyo could not expect his own troops to perform the tasks required; thus, he had to buy the services of a ninja, and there for a ninja being more of a mercenary and deffinantly not an samurai.
I know bushido doesn't accept some of the Ninja Principles (Ninniku Seishin)
For example: A Samurai can't refuse an offense. A Ninja have to refuse any insult, and only attack if his life, his ppl life or the country are in danger.
But is an historical fact, you can learn some of this in Soke Shoto Tanemura's book: Ninpo Secrets
Anyway, I believe the true essence of ninjutsu somewhat depends on the misinterpretation of the techniques...though cutting the heads off dildos i don't think does anything for anyone. Neat video i guess, but to much like a TKD demo for sure...just with less flips...and i guess this demo had way to many cinematic moves...ninjutsu demos should be more true to the art...Good post though, i guess for going outside the box :/
This is no respectable looking ninja display. It feels to Tae Kwon Do'ish for my tastes, way too flashy for ninjutsu. No real practitioner of Ninjutsu would have done the dildo cutting demonstration with their students holding them like that.
