Each player is allowed 2 spins, the 2nd adding onto the 1st. The first two guys were satisfied with their 1st spins, and thus froze on 65 and 95 cents, respectively. Since the idea's to reach $1 without going over, the 2nd guy would have only 1 safe space to land on: the nickel (.05)
If you don't catch the leader w/ your 1st spin, you must use your 2nd spin to, like I said earlier, build on the 1st but at the same time, avoid busting.
@666Tormentor666 the first time spinning if you dont beat the other guy you get to go again, just like the first guy was able to go again but he didnt want to risk going over
I know the quality isn't like your HD tv, I mean duh, so just let it go. You didn't have to watch it, and if you want to go and make a better quality video, be my guest. But until then, stop hating on these people who are putting up videos for YOUR enjoyment!
This is cool but not that unlikely. Vito simply used the same force on all (except for the last) of his spins. The odds of him repeating the previous roller's score are better than 1 in 20, due to the fact that the numbers immediately below the last score are slightly less likely to be spun, since the wheel needs to make 1 revolution but has no max revolutions. The odds of him repeating a score again rise DRASTICALLY since he is very likely to use the same, or near the same, force on each spin.
I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was staged. It always seems like they either all win, or all lose these days... And the better the prize, the more likely they lose.
@gvenema I decided to analyse their spins - turns out that the first person's spins aren't terrifically similar to each other, but the second person's was similar even in the rounds where he didn't draw. Notice that the 80 and 15 are right next to each other on the wheel, so when he tied with both together, he was still using a similar amount of force. Similarly, on the last spin, he started on the 60 and ended on the 80, which are only two away from each other on the wheel.
@gvenema It's not that they both span it with similar force to each other. It's that the second person's spins were more-or-less the same force each time. (The first person's may have been too, but you'd need to look at how the wheel was laid out to know for sure.)
I would argue that spinning the wheel IS a true random selection. The odds that a player will land on the same number as the person before him is 1/20. Multiply that 3 times (1/20 * 1/20 * 1/20) and the odds of what happened are 1 in 8,000. Stats 101
@RHeckman00 From a purely statistical standpoint that's true but something as physical as spinning that huge wheel has factors involved other than math, so it's not so purely random as something like flipping a coin.
@RHeckman00 No, it's not a true random selection. There's a good chance that you're going to spin the wheel at more-or-less the same force each time. If that force is enough to land the wheel on the same number from which it started off from, then the only randomness occurs from just how different your spin is from normal.
@newkidusa its about 1/64,000,000. still pretty big odds man. you do 20*20*20(since they tied 3 times, didnt make it to a 4th), and you times 8000 by 8000, since they both have 1/8000 of the number being the same.
@ishottheroflcopter The odds are pretty ridiculous if you assume the wheel is truly random, but consider that the second guy starts his spin on the number left from the first guy. He then puts in the same amount of force on every spin so that the wheel goes around exactly 3 times and lands back on the same number.
Still pretty unlikely, but not as bad as a pure random draw. The second guy is just very consistent with his spin strength. :-)
it;d be hard to stage the spin offs, but i def am suspicious of a lot of the crazy lose winnings they've been having, and im def getting annoyed with the special guests they've been bringing on to boost ratings. so sad.... without bob no one cares...

I am not American and I dont know the rules. Why could the 3rd guy in the beginning do a 2nd spin?
