  • I remember this tree very well. I couldn't finish watching the video.

  • Amazing tree, moving video!

  • I'm willing to bet that the the tree was there before the road... which should be removed?... IMHO the tree didn't grow to close to the road, They built the road to close to the tree.. It's always kinda sad to see such an old tree felled..

  • I would drop that tree dead smack on top of myself haha! Scary job but great video. That guy who cut it down is a freakin machine!!!

  • That gigantic tree looked like a marvel of nature, what a shame to bring that down... They should have moved the road instead. Was this as tall or thick as a redwood tree?

  • Cuando hayamos talado el último árbol, cuando hayamos capturado el último pez,nos daremos cuenta de que el dinero no se come.

  • really ashamed that tree was lost it was quite a beauty to bad someone didn't have the forethought to carve it into a Tiki .

  • Not to be a jerk, just a bit 'o constructive criticism. On 1:02, I tell my guys fo' neva fill saws on grass, gas & oil spills going kill'em. Baseball caps are not hard hats, I've only seen 1 guy wear a hard had, u lucky OSHA neva pass buy, Job stopped & 1 BIG fine! Props 2 da climba tho. But on 2:26 whoa brah... that was 1 close one. Was that luck or did u mean 4 do dat? Other then dat, job well done guys. My guestimate would be with hauling away rubbish, $10K- $12K maybe.

  • @coconutcrawler i agree, also the second top he dropped pushing with his hand like that, lucky the saw didnt kick back...

  • that was really good wel done mate

  • Awesome vid, what countries that in?

  • thanks! That is in the Nu'uanu area of Honolulu, Hawaii.

  • That is a beautiful tree.

  • Can't seem to get enough of this video. Love the drop by the chipper AHHHH thats a nice one:)

Starting my season soon, can't wait.

    Take care:)

  • That's funny: my sawingseason has just ended! It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad it's over for a while.

This is a great video and a great job. Done well!!What kind of saw did you use at the end when you were still clibing? A MS 660?

    Climb safe ;-)

  • @arbopro How was your season thire bro? any good contract? Never forget to have fun in those trees because they pull in the energy that we need!

  • I love the pic with the three cloud heads and the fact the tree had three spires, lets you know who's watching.

  • i love cuting trees

  • whats the music called?

  • its "The Memory of Trees" by Enya. Thought the title fit the vid ;)

    thanks 4 watching

  • Did the mean old tree drip sap on someones Mercedes? Those pine cones might kill some body. I kid. Nice video!

  • no, but close: a tree branch did hit a lady's BMW. thanks for watching! :)

  • That was one of the easiest jobs (tree wise) to do....but he did a nice job even though with a chipper that size I would have not gone to the top to take the tree apart...everyone has it's own style though ...the good thing is that no one got hurt and that nothing was broken...the hardest trees for me are 200 feet tall OAK as well as Eucaliptus...PEACE

  • That was huge!!

  • Nice climbing dude great job!

  • is that a cook island pine or norfolk island pine? pretty big... looks like its 30 metres tall.

  • sad...every year we go to the woods and collect acorns, and other tree seeds take them home and grow them on . this year we planted around 20+ oak and ash trees in local hedgerows,----life goes on.....

  • those asses that run cities make everyone cut down their trees. i hate cutting down trees. the trees were there first not the road.

  • hi, This is an amazing video.Very powerful and heart grabbing for all the tree pro's out there. Great job guys! God bless and play safe!

  • aw... kinda sad.

  • Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. Aloha, Auntie P

  • wow...very cool. maybe we shouldve donated it to the city for the christmas tree at honolulu hale?

  • why would they cut these trees down?

  • could of been sick or just dangerous. Sometimes it may seem ok for just the regular guy but there are alot of things to take into consideration when inspecting a tree for sickness or disease.

  • Thanks, John. Good job. Very nostalgic. Dad
