its definately croatoan but it seems to be set in the future "im Dean from 2009" quoted i think its gonna rock cuz he will see sam as Lucifer and tryy his hardest in S5 to stop that from happening and thats what is going to bring them back together... also i think Rapheal hinted to Cas that Dean is in the Garden of Eden when he said "Paradise".. just that sobtle look he gave him and the silence directly after, plus Cas gave up after he said that so it seems to fit !! ne ways those are my thought

I know what you mean. I was yelling so hard NO! When Lucifer told Sam that Sam is his vessel. But I don't think Dean really means it. I mean when Cas left Dean just had this look on his face that made me feel that he didn't mean it.

I think the next ep is what changes Dean's mind to go back to hunt with Sam. Cause I think in the future ep, the next ep, Lucifer has somehow broken Sam and in 5 yrs in the furture, wihout Dean, Sam has broken and has said "yes" to Lucifer. That's my hunch anyway.

the way I see it is, this episode shows the consequences of the brothers not teaming back up, so at the end of this one or sometime in the next one, they'll be back together. I'm not saying that Dean's gonna have completely forgiven Sam yet, but they are stronger together than apart.

Also from what I heard maybe this epi. is gonna show that its not too late to save Sam.

Also - anyone else getting a little annoyed that Dean won't forgive Sam or give it a go with him again? I get that he feels betrayed, but I am still frustrated with him not giving him a chance.... probably cause I just want them together.

I think Dean gave Sam plenty of chances last season, and it would be unrealistic for him to forgive Sam right away. Sam was selfish and stubborn, and even though Dean had never steered him wrong before, he convinced himself that Dean was wrong, and despite overwhelming proof, continued to justify his actions, no matter how bad they were. And that's what addicts do . I mean, he bled a woman dry!

Well, the woman did have a demon camped out inside her, but yes, ultimately it was a woman. But how many people had they killed prior to that hunting out demons?

Either way, yeah, it wouldn't be very realistic if he forgave right away, but is it really the right time to separate given it's the end of days?

They never really killed for their own gain, though.

And yeah, it's kind of an inopportune time for them to part, but you saw what happened in 5/02 - Dean almost put 10 people in danger just to go running off to save Sam. I think now is the perfect time for them to split up and deal with their issues, because now is when they HAVE to look at the bigger picture and stop chasing after each other.

The boys are better together than apart!!! it's frustrating seeing them like this...but at least Sammy took the first step and it's not both of them being stubborn because things owuld be muuuuuuuuuuch worse...Dean will change his mind, he can't turn his back on his family forever...remember, he sucks at being alone
