  • I don't think a tornado hit Kearny, NJ. I think it was just a gust of wind.

  • Srry but i guess moved of kearny i was in kearny for 2 and half years there and i say stop wrrying it was a dumb storm that did not kill u so u have nothing to wrry about

  • u look like the twins from America's Next Top Model i think season 1` or 2?

  • Aw, thank you :-)

  • I heard Dave Tore farted, that Fat ass would generate quite a jet stream!

  • You better fucking duck DUDE! The tornado's coming!

  • im from there to were do you live

  • in town, lol. I don't answer personal questions like that.

  • im in love wit you so pretty hit me up cutie

  • Did the tornado hit your house? Also, there is a meteorologist at accuweather predicting higher levels of severe thunderstorms this summer for the northeast. It'll be interesting to see if he is correct. You seem to not enjoy severe thunderstorms but I am actually always excited for rough weather.

  • It didn't actually hit my house, but it was close enough to the point that the slating came off of my roof and my hammock was literally wrapped around a tree.

  • i used to live thre....if there was a tornado then i wouldve heard from my friends...

  • there defiantly was never a tornado in kearny. i remember it clearly. it was a very bad wind storm. it was raining and such. the windows of the front end of my cousins house completely blew off. there was powerlines down and everything. BUT IT WAS NEVER A TORNADO. there was tornado warnings, but a word of advise, maybe you should do research before you make a video like this and make people think false info.

  • Seriously, why do you think there were warnings and how else do you explain my shingles coming off of my roof? Yes, it was in the area.

  • If it was a tornado, you would have a house, let alone a computer to make a youtube video. Warnings are just warnings. that doesnt mean that there had actually been one.

  • there def was never a tornado in kearny

  • Yeah right, that's why most of the shingle came off of my roof and my backyard furniture was wrapped around our trees. If you weren't in Kearny while this happened or you were sleeping, don't comment.

  • I remember one day like a month or so ago there were warnings everywhere. Severe Thunderstorm, Flash Flood, and even a few Tornado Warnings. Yeah cause I remember there was like a Tornado Warning for up north in Hunterdon and Somerset counties I think, and up near Edison. They were dropped a little bit later though. That was crazy.

  • Yeah I live here in Jersey- and we definitely don't get tornadoes here often. We do get them sometimes, but not nearly as bad as in the Plains, in Tornado Alley (Thank God). I live in Mercer County, and we get Severe Thunderstorms often, but hardly ever tornadoes. There was one back in September '03 though that damaged part of Ewing. When I saw the warning scroll across the screen when I was watching the Weather Channel, I got so scared.

  • i didnt get any of it though

  • Like I commented to yours on the other video...Did you not see how the hammock was wrapped around the tree? Also, slating doesn't come off of a roof easily. You may have either been sleeping or out of town.

  • yeah im in kearny

  • i liv in nj and i didnt know there was a tornado

  • It was all along the Hudson River and I did get some of it.

  • omg that is good that all of u r ok!

  • Yes, thankfully it wasn't worse.

  • Jersey never was notorious for having tornadoes. Back in the 1990's, the stats were an average of one documented tornado every 25 to 50 years... Now, that surely has changed. really scary when you think about it. Kind of sucks too, because Jersey is a really safe area to live in weather wise. Now we gotta worry about whats over our heads.

  • Speaking of "over our heads", I'm thinking about how the state of PA runs all electrical wiring underground. We should really do that.

  • you had a tornado in NJ im in Warren County 5mins from Easton,Pa scary dont like to hear this in our state MyStormVideos youtube user stay safe

  • Yeah, the very first ever recorded. The depletion of the ozone layer is beginning to really take effect and it's unfortunate, because we have so much to live for. Since June 10th, nothing has happened and I'm grateful. Thank you for reaching out.

    Jen

  • Last comment promise, Tornadoes can be terrifying . Kansans are alittle more used to them, I myself do not worry about them. I can tell when they are coming. But just to say, don't let that twister get the best of you, don't hang onto the fear of it. Apparantly some lives were lost and my condolences go to the families. But don't let those things control you. Love on your neighbors, family and friends and keep going.....

    Best,

    Rachel

  • Hey, don't worry about "over-commenting". I really appreciate everything you have to say. You're also showing that you care. Thank you for being here Rachel.

  • As far as predictions, well, coastal lines the water is rising, that's actually contributing factor to hurricanes and weather. There will be more in my prediction of various types of weather everywhere. Kansas in May had a count of 90 tornadoes in that month. That's high. I don't know if there will be more twisters that way, but weather in general is gonna start showing it's might. Take care, Best,

    Rachel

  • Hi sweetie,

I'm in Kansas. These storms have been really wet here and completely dry more West. The weathermen aren't sure what to make of everything. May is normal time for worst storms but starting last year it extended into June. The last 3 to 4 years, they'd been getting storms in Tennesee,Kentucky, Ohio valley. VERY unusual to get that far East as New Jersey. Hang in there, you are just shook up, you are ok and family is ok, so just hang on to that. It helps to talk to neighbors .

  • You know it

  • about 10 miles south of where i live 4 people were killed and 30-40 people were injured in a tornado in southern monona county at a campsite. may they be in our prayers.

  • Thank you wideglide. I'm making more videos as we speak so that I can work through it and keep going on with everything I've been doing. It just seems as if everything is changing rapidly, but that's only my perspective now. I'll take your advice and wait a few days. Thank you :-)

  • I think the chances of you getting hit by another tornado are very slim. With regards to other types of weather changes I don't think you will see much change in your lifetime. I'm no expert but I do know the environment changes very slow. I seems like you're pretty shook up and I can understand why. Give it day or two and you will feel better. Take care.

  • I hear you on that. Trouble is, we don't know if Tornados will cause the thugs in the inner city parts to get worse with their crime or if it will stop them in their tracks. All I know is, no one can argue with Mother Earth. She always wins. I'm just glad I have a basement and I've been good to the Earth. I think I'll be okay.
