Im glad to hear a positive view on men. I love everyone no matter if they are good or bad. Its sad that the bad ones outnumber the good ones. But as a woman I cant blame the man. They can only do what we allow. Personally I rather be single and wait before I deal with a man that havent found himself.
By the way, I've been married to hubby for going on 9 years. He was my friend first and he is ALWAYS encouraging me. I'm glad that I allowed myself to be open to meet a positive man. You're right, good men aren't perfect but the effort is always there.

I love that u vlog because women sumtimes forget that they have a good man cause they get caught up in life and we need to be told about ourselves every once in a while.Sumtimes we forget to praise our men and we dwell on the 1 or 2 bad things they did and forget about all the good they have done cause we expect perfection and they fall short of it every time so we assume there has to be better out there. Great point!! I think womem need to focus on two main things. One listening to our hearts. You know with the first five minutes if the dude you are dealing with is a dog or not. Trust me it doesn't take months. BTW, if a dude tells you that you are baby momma material, RUN.
Secondly, we need to stop just loving our sons and start raising them. It aint to allow your teen son to have sex or smoke weed in your house. Try to raise the type of man you would want for yourself.

I think as a society we are too focused on the outer appearance when we are trying to find someone to date. If we could learn to look past the outside and focus on the heart, like God does, we would be happier with the ones we are involved with. Of course you don't want a filthy, dirty, person who doesn't care about themselves, but physical features shouldn't solely determine who you pursue.

I'm so glad that you pointed out that a good man does NOT equate a perfect man. I think sometimes women tend to expect a prince charming but life isn't a fairytale although the idea is nice. Nobody's perfect. The best you can get is someone that's perfect FOR YOU (flaws included).

I agree with everything in your post except the "maybe you're meant to be alone". In The Word, it is good for us to have a mate. I don't think God would give someone a desire for marriage is He wasn't going to fulfill it. imo...great vlog tho!

Yes! There are good men out there. They may be scarcely scattered, but they are out there none the less. I have a great man and I'm so thankful. Sometimes you have to go through a sour relationship or two so that you can recognize and appreciate a good man. Vlog more often A.E.

I think as a society we are too focused on the outer appearance when we are trying to find someone to date. If we could learn to look past the outside and focus on the heart, like God does, we would be happier with the ones we are involved with. Of course you don't want a filthy, dirty, person who doesn't care about themselves, but physical features shouldn't solely determine who you pursue.

I have a male friend who is a great man...he is bitter due to his wife committing adultry...REPEATEDLY!..he stays with her for his son. He doesnt want to leave his son. i'm young and in college and i think i came in thinking "you find your husband in college" even though i had a bf and we split due to distance but the guys i met after he BOY OH BOY!! they were dogs so its hard to believe there are good guys but i just think i'm too young to be looking for a "committed" guy and i also blame myself maybe i should choose more carefully but thanks for giving me faith!!

I am so tired of hearing about 'good" men or "bad" men. If the men we spend so much time talking about and listening to others talk about spend a quarter of theat time thinking about us, we wouldn't need to have these discussions.
I know a lot of great men (my dad for one!), but if they were the norm, we wouldn't need to keep having this discussion trying to convince people they exist.

This is funny because I just had my cousin tell me I'm lucky for finding a good man. I just told her to stop looking so darn hard b/c 9 time out of 10 that good man is right there in front of her & she's passing him up b/c she has this unrealistic notion of what a "good" man is.
