I recently unlocked my 3GS using ultrasn0w so I could sell it to someone on another carrier, but the person is asking for the phone to be un-jailbroken. This makes no sense since un-jailbreaking the phone will render ultrasn0w useless, undoing the unlock. My question is: Would uninstalling Cydia render ultrasn0w useless, or is ultrasn0w a standalone program that does not need Cydia to survive?

To uninstall prank call you need cydia. Go into manage and tap packages then scroll down to the app you dont want tap edit tap the app and tap remove. And doodle jump remix sucks

turn off your iphone by holding down the home button and standby button together, from there make sure your ipod chord is disconnected. hold down the home button and reconnect your ipod while itunes is open. from there it will turn on in recovery mode.

I found a way that you don't have to press the home button and power button.

After you force the removal of Cydia

DO NOT DO NOT

click return to Cydia

just press the home button it will allow you to go back to the main screen and Cydia will be gone.

Note if you have Cydia apps installed when you delete Cydia they will disappear with time. So if you want to keep say Gpsphone

Don't delete Cydia if you want to lose the apps proceed.
