@Don0chi0cho And maybe the reason people are making a big deal out of Nicole and her Filipino roots is because Filipinos, or Asians in general, are always overlooked in the media. We're practically invisible. What's wrong with being proud of the fact that someone who we share the same roots with, has made it big. You're right , it's 2010...it would be nice for everyone not to care about race anymore but the truth is race is still an issue. Just watch the news and read the newspaper.
