OMG! I rented our property to a guy from PCL Construction for two years and when he moved out it looked liked a hurricane hit our condo! I have NO idea why they are soooooo messy and don't care where they live!?? lol
hey, Landon, glad to see you back......with your fine arts degree and webcam skills, you should do a "reality TV show", with your housemates.....the oilman, the college student and the landlord, etc...sitting in the hot tub, talking over their days events.......shower scenes would be optional...:)
Try this if you will get the few supplies needed to start a window washing(WW) business this will get your foot in the door at many businesses in areas you choose. I read a book where the WW would get a gig just to cover his meal that was his pay there, another he did so for his auto maintence but cash was his favorite sometimes you can get more than cash if you barter. Just being in that area each day could get your foot in the door with a patron of a business.Best yet it is simi flexible.
If you want a quick fix to socialization find a greasy spoon to eat at in the am get there same time same crew is there each AM and you get a lot more socialization for very cheap,Eat before you go there and just order coffee. Transportation cost can really eat into your profits if you want a job close to home mass produce resume for the places you really want to work and go there with your resume once a week they will eventually give you a shot I have hounded a business into hiring me it works.
Use to work in oil field the jobs are usually very dirty and labor intensive when they get off they are just that tired.I have a video that you may want to see it is about homelessness but the information should make you buy a few houses and rent out the rooms and that be your job or better yet buy a motel you will hate to see people if you do that I ran an apartment cmpx and I got where I hated to talk business cause it never ends. I will PM you the notes on that video so you can FF.
Even the IRS here is trying to force people to pay online, trying to go completely paperless. I'm like, wtf? There are lots of people who aren't on the internet and have no desire to be on the internet or are too poor or are too old. It's craziness. Our society isn't at that point, but The Man is pushing us there, kicking & screaming. Paperless isn't about saving paper, but giving jobs to computer programs so they don't have to pay a person to interact with you. They should call it "peopleless."
@dafttool - I completely agree! It's going to be a lonely future out there if we continue on this path (maybe that's why anti-depressants have skyrocketed in sales!!)
