Listen man I own a 98 gs 400 and its a monster all the way to 160 mph don't sleep on it. the g35 and 37 are fast but but they can't hang at top speed trust me I run them all the time
3am and I can't think properly... Anywho, the gs is a nice car, but it's 1500lbs heavier, nearly the same hp, a bit more torque but in the long run the g is a quicker car. I should know, I race my friends GS400 and spank em by a couple car lengths all day long. Maybe this guy was a bad driver. it was only 17 seconds, you sure he wasn't trying to mess with the GS? I know I like the sandbag it when I race a car I know I can whoop easily lmao.
GS400 is a 300 hp 300 tq V8.... enough said. Was the worlds fastest automatic sedan was Lexus released it in 98. Its a real sleeper if you dont know about it.
Its a beast of a car and reminds you whats under the hood every time u hit the pedal... how i know this ? Because I love my GS400 sliver/black. My girl loves driving in the gs400 because of how hard it throws her back in the seat lol
youre racing bunch of retard or theres simply something wrong with their cars, GS400 in top running condtion is an easy 13sec car from a roll stock, from a stop they are simply way to heavy but still manage mid to low 14s. Thats what a G35 runs anyways in stock form. maybe you were racing a gs300 rebadged, dont know.
@madboost35 easily a 13 second car? in stock form they trap 97-98, maybe 100 with a freak car. ive raced on at the strip and he ran a 14.4x to my 14.2x, and my trap speed was higher. we did a run on the highway on the way home, and i had a couple of lengths and pulling by the time we hit unreasonable speeds.
So if the gs weighs around 3600 pounds that means the g only weighs a little over 2000? Haha you guys need to do your homework.

kinda funny i saw this vid cuz i just raced a g35 sedan earlier today.. it was an 03-06 body.. and i have a 98 gs4
wasn't really fair though cuz i had a rolling start.. plus traffic started to get thick after a mile or two so i was dodgin and duckin' through lanes
