I wish you would investigate the CCHD collections taken up in the Archdiocese of Chicago for the last five years.

It seems as though the only deserving people are either Latino or "immigrant". . Two groups mentioned have actually forced a town to change laws to prevent the police from arresting illegal immigrants and also forced them from cooperating with federal authorities. That town's police force is  held accountable to those groups.

It is an outrage of justice sponsored by the USCCB.

If the church starves, shed have to laicize clerics. They can start with the heretics. They should be defrocked. A small but unified church is infinitely better than a large but self-defeating one. The church is weak because it has been infiltrated by cowardly, conformist Christo-impostors who act more like spokesmen for the UNFPA than your local Planned Parenthood patient advisor. If the church were unified, even pornography would be outlawed, and we wouldnt be in the quagmire were in today.

I have a dilemma. Christ said Give to the Lord what is His. When I look at his priests, I see the likes of Fr. Corapi who proclaim the immorality of birth control. But there are those like my local Newman Center deacon who say condoms are a practical solution to the AIDS epidemic in Africa. WHY SHOULD I GIVE MY BREAD TO THOSE WHO FEED ME WITH POISON? If you are concerned - the answer is NOT to stop putting money in the collection plate - that generally supports the Parish and keeps the lights on. Just consider yourself educated and limit your contributions to the Parish plate and those "Special Collections" - which are always disclosed - to the ones you want to support.

That's true. Not financially supporting the parish could starve our priests to death. But since they had millions to spare for ACORN et al, I might donate an occasional dollar to the parish. That way they'd be forced to think where to put the money. Better yet, I could just buy them food and drink. That surely can't be electronically transferred to ACORN, and the US church would less likely pay its own assassins.

This is why I don't plan to donate a cent to the parish anymore. I will support the church by donating directly to reputable organizations like Catholic Answers Action, Catholic Vote Action, Family Research Council Action, LifeSiteNews, C-FAM, and others. That way I know where the money goes, and feel secure for I know how those organizations operate.

Dear Mina; I'm not a Catholic but I have great respect for aspects of the Catholic doctrine .I also admire the way The Catholic hierarchy have stood firm against abortion and homoseuality here in Scotland. All western institutions are "corrupted from within" , a process devised by the Italia Marxist Gramcsi in the 20's. I'll answer for him. She is called "Our Lady" as a title of respect - she is the first of all women, and so deserves the title "Lady". She is OUR lady because she was given to be our mother and protector by her Son.

She is of all these different places beause she appeared in them and gave visions to various people, visions telling people to pray and love her Son, Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God and God.

Years ago I protested the Campaign for Human Development in Chicago for these very same reasons . Cardinal George has since changed the name to the Cardinal's Appeal but still gives money to the IAE , an Alinskiite group ! Acorn is an Alinskiite group ! I could go on and on , it's all true . .

I wonder how many of the bishops are even aware of where the money is going. The USCCB has staff who make these decisions, and I don't think we should rush to judgment. This could be a positive wake up call for them, and I bet some are as outraged as we are by the discovery. So let's give them a little grace, at the same time as we demand accountability for our funds.

Who are appointed by the USCCB. Ultimate responsbility for this rests with the USCCB as an organization, even though many bishops may have opposed it.

It is impossible not to "rush to judgment" when this is the OFFICIAL POLICY of the USCCB. They endorsed it. At the very least, they are guilt of gross lack of oversight.

They know, and if they don't they should. Last year our former Pastor from the Arlington Diocese openly recommended that his parrishoners not give to this collection, but still had the collection in obedience to his bishop. I think he got in a bit of trouble since his statements ended up in the secular newspaper. I guess the Lord has seen fit to vindicate him and several other priests in the Diocese who acted in like manner with this filth coming to light. This is not altogether new info.
