I love Macross, and stopped watching Frontier after a few episodes. The music was bland (Yoko Kanno must have been having a bad month or two), the art was appaling (as all modern anime art is) and the story an inferior rehash. Plus the terrible, impossible-to-follow 3D space battles made me weep for the beauty of Macross Plus and Macross: Do you Remember Love.

Kanno Youko has been shitty for years, just everyone creams their pants over her early work (like M+, which even then only Information High was worth anything).

The greatest band in the world, from the greatest anime TV series ever made. This song is only used for a few second in one of the MACROSS 7 PLUS extras, which is a massive shame as it is bloody incredible and atmospheric beyond words.

This is my favorite Firebomber song. They never use it in the series, but on my Macross 7 LDs they have a little music video for this song. The lyrics are kinda retarded, so I ignore them, the song itself is awesome.
